Sammy, there has to be a mandatory cut when installing a 2ndary cat delete on the driver side piping. The only way to have a full bolt on kit without any cutting would involve deleting both primary and 2ndary cats. It will bolt on to the stock exhaust manifold and to the resonator box, just like the Fluid Motor Union setup.

ok thank you for that, well thats minor at the least...I dont want to just cut out the cats then replace them with pipes...although that maybe the way to do it cheapest.

Would like to maintain the stock exhaust as much as possible.

Thanks for the help again! You've been keeping me in check.

Yah I crawled under there today and found out the same thing. But it looks like you can install pipes to replace the resonator without cutting. Anyone know who makes one.

check out GT-PRO and MBH but those also delete the secondary cats I believe. Thats what Im looking for just a used one. Preferably something that just deletes the secondary cats and keeps the resonator to keep the noise down. Just want it a little louder, and if I can get a couple hp that would be good too!

After further inspection it appears there is a clamp for each pipe between the secondary cats and the resonator. However there is only a clamp behind the resonator on the passengers side. Hence a cut would have to be made on the drivers side. I'll need to check to see if a shop can make the cut, flair the ends of the stock pipes to accommodate a MBZ stock clamp and donut (which I'm sure is inside between the two flared ends at the other locations...can any one confirm this). This way I can have a stock looking quick disconnect for the resonator and replace it with bypass pipes.

Anybody have the website for GTPRO. They have a very cool looking data logger that displays on the stock C63 Nav screen.

I have the Torque android app but the phone screen is too small to be useful and the window mount bounces all over the place.

heard FastDonzi's GTPRO x-pipe tonight, sounded amazing, with no rasp in stall, and further more did not sound like crap when revved, truly got me considering to grab one now! it sounded amazing not to mention he said when driving, whole different tone, from rev alone i was amazed, i'd love to hear that thing on a few runs!

I have installed GT-pro X pipe and downpipes. If you just get the X pipe, you will need to make a single cut and buy a little sleeve. Very easy install that a shop can do in about 1/2 hour to an hour. Ronalsales is the website.
