FYI, our rotors are 2 weeks out for anything not in stock. The long wait times are over. We have 40+ sets coming in as we speak. =)
thanks

What your seeing is just the coating on the rotors, the rest of it will be removed onced installed and you brake for the first time. This actually is one of the ways you are assured that your getting new rotors. I would be more concerned if you ordered from the dealer and it didn't have this coating on it.

As others already said, those rotors are NEW! that is how pretty much all new OEM rotors look it is just their alternative to zinc coating. Just install them and go for a ride and they will look "new" again to you.

You said that to me and I still waited 4+ months let your orders ship and zip your lip let the customers speak for your service not you!

Dodger,
Please stop jumping into EVERY thread that I post in or someone says something good. Customers ARE speaking, and even when they do you jump in with a snide or negative remark.
People are interested, ask questions and we ARE going to reply. I am sure you will reply to this and to each and every new thread regarding us or our products, but you will have to accept at some point that evosport has fixed our issues and is moving on. I would expect you to do the same.
Thanks
Brad

Dodger,
Maybe you did not read the thread:
As you can now see, there was a direct comment about our product, to which I replied.

Personally, the evosport ones look a lot better, we use the same manufacturer on our Viper rotors and I can say they are an excellent product. I am not fimilar with wait times, but that is besides the point. I am just comparing product to product and price to price.

Stock front is 360mm and rear is 330mm. Thickness, not sure, but its not really to relevant. The aftermarket ones are usually same thickness as stock or it would not fit in the caliper if it was thicker. Thickness is usually looked at for wear.

i finally just went to the dealer and had them order and put on the fronts so i wouldnt have to see. my issue was the big divots and dents in these especially on the faces. guess i just expected the fronts to look like the rears did brand new without a mark on them.

There is no way I will be buying OEM rotors any time soon. I will take them to a machine shop to have them resurface as many times as I can before I had to buy new OEM rotors and if that is the case it would be an aftermarket two piece rotor.

I had a machineshop to resurface them, they said the surface is within 1 thouth, sure the vibration is gone, but brake wobble again after only one track day

Once you get Wobble in a rotor (warping from heat) its there for good. Any resurfacing is only a temporary fix and it will come back, especially after a track day. Even a long highway drive can bring it back. High spot heats rotor and before you know it the pulsing is back..

Resurfacing is not really worth it because as the guys mentioned, the wobble will start causing alignment, rack and pinion, and power steering issues....more problems essentially.

The titanium nitride insulates the steel core. As a result the surface gets hotter and radiates the braking energy more effectively.
Of course now you may need Ti shims to protect the fluid.
This is all really just track application. The higher coefficient of friction does help on the street
