Dyno Results 640rwhp 638 tq

The sudden drop off at 5500 rpm is a result of the tires spinning and hopping on the rollers of the dyno. Car is going tback to dyno timorrow with new tire/wheel combo to try to address the traction issue. 700rwhp is probably an accurate guess if we can get the car settled on the dyno.

Quote: Custom made heads specific for a forced induction system would not be built to yield more than a 9:1 compression ratio.
Probably more like fly-cut pistons to bring the compression down

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Fontana's private event on April 22nd just got cancelled for not having enough people

First off, awesome numbers. Super impressive to say the least.

But why would you take such a gamble? So much time and money has been spent to make the perfect car. I just can't see why you wouldn't put some rods and pistons in the car.

And I love all the high compression comments. Compression isn't the killer, tq is. I think the build is awesome and I pray it holds together. I would love to see a built bottom end and see how far u guys can run with this thing. It's gonna be awesome. Can't wait for vids and track times. Good luck at the track.

One more thing I forgot to mention about Fontana.... they will ENFORCE all NHRA rules even in private events. So once you go less than 11.50s, they'll require the roll bar and I think less than 11.0 may require a cage... not sure on full details.

Lets keep it going jim. I'm in to split it with you.. lets just sign up 7 more time each.. ... know problem with the RUNS Mo, with jims set up it's like this, His car will be so fast that the car will finish the 1/4 mile long before the driver does, SO there will be NO body found in the car to escort off the track...

Trust me , I already tried but the paypal link has been removed. I have calls in to the event organizer as well as emails but have not heard back. I am looking into Vegas, Famoso, and Fiirebird night rentals. I gotta get the beast on the track asap

Update

I heard back from Alan, the organizer for the Alternative Motoring Event, he said that all the money has been refunded so getting the track day back on will be a logistical nightmare however he did tell me that he thinks he can get me a one lane rental at Fontana on the 22nd for around $2500. If that is indeed the case I will pay that money out of pocket in order to get in some passes in. I will keep everyone posted. If I do the one lane rental I will open up the event to a small handful of other cars, maybe 12-15 max. becuase one lane events move at a much slower pace than a two lane event.

If there is enough interest I can look into a 2 lane rental. Let me know your feelings on this.

Stay tuned for more updates

So $2500 for one lane... This is a test and tune dream... great chance to dial in the cars.. better than a dyno day. I'm in. It's alot of work for you to travel Jim but I'll make some calls and see if we can get a few more guys out. of coarse side by side line ups is where the fun is.. Might be to much to setup fo only 2 cars ...

I hear ya but that's just not realistic, I am in Chicago right now, car and trailer is in California and its Saturday afternoon so getting thst ball rolling would be nearly impossible. Besides thst Steve from Weistec has offered to join me at the track and I like the idea of having him there for the card first track outting to monitor everything and give his input. I might not break any records at Fontana but given the complexity of the situation and build I would feel better sorting outthr car his him present.
