Matched up with a GT500 this morning...

Not happening, sorry. Not on an evenly matched clean race. A GT500 is faster all day long. I have raced all the GT's(even 2011 modded 12.40@118) around town and beat them all. All the GT's I've raced and won against have been beat by every GT500 in town even the stock ones. Im a lighter and tuned C63. Not to mention I dont know one stock GT500
One guy has one with 900 miles and already has a whipple upgrade They are everywhere and they are fast. A win is a win though. If he missed a gear or whatever, congrats. But I wouldnt brag... You got lucky

Honestly I'm trying to understand your post....so you are faster than a GT500? Well I am bragging a little. Facts are he lost his a$$.... Sorry brother. They are not THAT fast.

I have no reason to doubt a stock C63 on DR's couldnt trap 116.
No question mod for mod they beat the C63. Stock vs Stock though its close. Tuned C63 vs Stock GT500. (HP vs HP) the C63 walks the GT500 all day.

Thanks for the suit. You know just I just posted an honest description of my morning...that's all. It happened the way I described. I'm not claiming to know how engines work (I got flamed on other post for that) or what the build quality if a GT500 is. All that happened was a Ford GT and its owner tried to take me and my baby on this morning and their a$$es handed to them! LOL! Regardless I need a tune.

Does OP know what year he went against, AFAIK 09 and earlier GT500's are different than never ones.. they're heavier, have less power (500 vs 540 vs 550 for 2011), and have different gearing.

I own both and its immpossible. it looks like it was a gt with gt500 kit lol.
Gt500 is by far faster then the C63. My c63 have a tune and headers and still the gt500 pulls atleast 2 cars on the C63
