I meet a guy in a gasoline station few months ago...he was driving a mustang...don't know what kind but I know is the lower/lowest level mustangs...he said "nice car but I bet mine is faster" and I just smiled. But who knows maybe his car is modded but NOOO I don't think so

You have to be careful of mustangs, in any trim level....

Don't get me wrong guys, I don't care if other cars are faster than our C63 coz I don't race and I know every year there's gonna be a bigger and badder car that comes out, that why I don't mod my engine (I just wanna look fast) lol.

I've tried to instigate a few guys, but no takers
I do get a lot of looks on the highway from drivers and passengers.
Couple thumbs up from mostly pick-up owners
Maybe they just like that shiney black paint.

Here's a funny one from yesterday.
I was driving in the city and a beat up 90's Integra came flying up on me and pulled a long side me at a stop light.
I looked over because I could feel him staring at me.
He obviously wanted to race and I chuckled to myself and looked ahead.
When the light turned green he floored all 200hp and zoomed through traffic ahead and almost crashed like three times.
I just putted by him at like 30 mph
These silly kids

I don't understand statements like this. A stone stock laguna seca edition runs 12.3 @123.xx faster than my K1 C63. A stone stock new GT500 will hand my car it's lunch all day long.
Yeah I understand people are putting up awesome times in the 11.xxx's but not in street trim. I mean how many of you drive around with only the drivers seat in the car?

As much as I like the new Boss 302 especially the Laguna version, 123 mph traps are a bit exaggerated for what I have seen documented. Chances are also pretty good that no one will confuse a Laguna with a Mustang GT, the thing looks down right race ready.

Jeff... chill brother..You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder about this thread..Maybe you misread the title. You seem to be taking this thread as "My C63 is faster than anything on the planet" I was just throwing out a funny encounter. I understand there are many slower and many more faster cars than my C63.
BTW if you cant get better than a 12.3 on your K1 tune you should look into a more aggressive tune. Maybe its your location... dont know where you live.
Also, my seats were in my car for my 11.XXX run. I simply put on some DR's and hit the gas. Now aside from track prep im sure I can still be in the 11's on street with my Nitto rears. Very high 11's. Ill have to vbox it.

I'm fine, maybe read into this too much there are just 100's of threads on here about how "my C63 is faster than anything on the road". It gets old after a while. I have more fun giving someone the finger that wants to race than actually racing them but hey that's just me. but yes I will look you right in the face if you try and race me and flip you off on the go horn / count. 
I don't consider my car all that fast, K1 and euro boxes. I've never had it on the drag strip maybe this summer, I didn't really buy this car for drag racing. Maybe that's why when I see these threads it's funny to me.
I fully respect what most of you guys have done getting these cars to run 11.xxx's or faster that's f'ing fast. Especially if done at full weight.
Sorry if I came across as an @sshole that wasn't my intention.

Nahh dude. Not an Ahole at all. I just figured you took my intention wrong.
I see your point. I have see an evolution in the C63 forum since I bought one in 09. 2 C63's later, yes, this forum is huge into modding and racing now where it wasnt as much before.

You know I bought my C63 for a variety of different reasons. I love my car. I surprises me to see so many on this forum so eagerly trying to defend other cars and manufacturers..... My car is not the fastest but it sure ain't the slowest. If you prefer a Mustang over a C63 then buy one... To many trolls on this website.....

I was leaving my sons school yesterday and I was next to a Black Caynee GTS with blacked out rims and red calipers. Nice looking truck.
The owner comes out and I say
"Hey, I like that truck"
the reply was "and I like your car"
Kidding I say "Wanna trade"
the reply "Nahhh, I think im a little be faster than you"
I replied "If you say so... Have a good one"
My 5 year old was in the car and he even said "Whaaaat? There is no way that truck is faster than you"

Even my lowly ML 55 will get you to about 80 in the snow/ice and rain (when you're not driving your car anyway!!)As for Mustangs, ehh, we'll leave that to another forum..................

I had an X5 trying to race me the end of last week. The snow was melting and a little wet still. I let him floor it on the first 2 lights then embarrassed him on the 3rd. So strange....then I had a funny little model a type rod trying to race me. I just shook my head and stepped down a little.
