"Nick, I'm glad you like it. I know how you feel about the H&R... but luckily, it's not as low as I thought it would be. Loving your new GL though!! Is your C63 brother in this forum? "
Yes, I am. Just got it Tuesday in the pouring rain! That last track day at Tremblant did it for me...
Nice job on your car, will sure look nice with your wheels.

Jeff, it's funny you ask this question cuz with the help of a friend, I decided to slap on my 19's... to my biggest surprise, no rubbing whatsoever even with a passenger in the back seat. Once again, my rims specs are 19x10 +53mm offset w/275-30-19 tires... it could be done w/o rubbing.
Keep in mind, I have General Tires which run narrow for 275s. And I also used the thicker spring pads in the rear, which might have helped!! My rims & tires are very flushed, but I have a finger gap all around.
I will try to post pics tomorrow.

Forgot to ask this question... during the winter, I have stored my 3pcs rims in my cold garage (I normally store them in my warm basement)... and to my surprise, all my tires lost pressure (2 of them quite a bit). Could the cold temperature in my garage has affected the tire pressure?
I topped them up, and will monitored the pressure to see.

Ros,
If you have just compressed air you will lose pressure sitting in cold storage, not to mention lots of water condensation. Try a nitrogen fill (Costco will do it for free).

AMG, the SV1 are back on the car already... and no rubbing whatsoever. I drove on them last night on bumpy roads, and the car is driving straight. I love the new look!! I used the bigger spring pads in the rear, so i'm sure it helped prevent the rubbing. 1 finger gap all around. I'll go out take some quick pics now.
Duane, thanks for your advice, I'll go out check my tires again & hope it's not a nail or rim leaks. My brother told me about the nitrogen, I might try that to prevent pressure loss.

As promised, here are few pics taken this morning of the car with the 19's... I've decided to try the red center caps, yay or nay? Sorry for the poor pic quality, I got to buy a new point & shoot camera... hehe! Proper photoshoot will follow soon.

Jeff, I also love the outcome! Your car looks much lower than mine though... is it because you have taller tires or you used spacers to push them out? I think my car would look nicer with no finger gap, but I went with practicality over look.
Walter, just pull the trigger on the skirts... I believe the sponsor here still have a full set on sale! As for mod influence, they should be banned *cough*cough* ... hahaha!

Didn't see you had chrome lips on your first post. That is most likely the issue. Condensation in compressed air causes corrosion of the chrome at the tire bead resulting in a leak. Nitrogen with prevent this as it has virtually no water content. Just make sure they prep the wheel lips to get all the corrosion off. I had the same problem with some 3 piece wheels with chromed outers on my Turbo. One of them would go flat every six months. Nitrogen fixed the problem. (After a too fast encounter with an unmarked and unposted speed dip, I had them completely rebuilt with clear coated polished outers.) Best of luck.

Duane, yeah my lip is chrome... I will sure look into filling up with nitrogen. So far, the tires hasn't lost pressure since I filled them up... so it's all good for now.
Jeff, my front tires are 235/35... maybe I will go 245/35 next time... it looks better! Or maybe I will add some spacers to make them flushed like the rear.

Jeff, thanks for the compliment... your car was my inspiration for my H&R drop. Thanks for your help about my fitment/rubbing concerns.
jakio, thanks... my cousin took a lot of pics, but most of them came blurry... he said he was on the wrong settings. My friend has better pics, I will post them soon so you can see the Revozport sideskirts better.
Hiro, thanks brother!! I kind of regret not doing dark wheels instead of brushed to match my CF parts.
coladin, thanks fellow... I have yet to see your new car around, we should meet up for coffee some day. :P
