"Spring" mode (pics with final mods)
Spring is finally here in Canada, so it was time to install few new goodies:
- H&R springs
- Boca big CF trunk spoiler
- Revozport sideskirts
- VIP rear skirts.
I'm waiting for the springs to settled before getting an alignment, and slap on my 19's.
This car is a money pit, and modding has been an addiction... so this should be it for me.
Sorry for the crappy pics, I took them quickly this morning with my point & shoot. Proper photoshoot will follow soon. Any feedbacks are welcomed!

Modding is like a recurring itch. Every once in a while you have to give in and scratch it....LOL
Also, what is your opinion, powerwise compared to your ISF? Done modding.....not until you get a tune.

Walter, I know what you mean... if I knew at first I would go the CF route, I would've bought my rims in gunmetal. Ah well, I could always powdercoat them later... but once again I dont want to spend anymore on this car (you're a bad influence bro)... hahaha!
BK, the ground effect is indeed low... but I've owned few lowered cars so I always drive carefully. Plus this car is my sunday car only, not a daily driver.
Jeff, I hope I will have your luck once I install my 19's. I used the bigger spring pads in the rear (advice from superbubblicity), so it might help with clearance. Do you think it will go lower once it settles (I hope it wont, i like it at that height))? I put them on on Monday.
Sin, the car is driving straight (no pulling left or right at all). As for the ride comfort, it is very close to stock. I just have to watch for potholes more so I dont trash my front lip. As for the BOCA spoiler, the fitment is very good, no visible gap anywhere... but I had my bodyshop install it for me. I've never raced with my brother ISF, but I think our cars is faster at take off due to the weight of the ISF... on a straight, the ISF might catch up. No tune for me yet (you're a bad influence like Walter... hehehe!), I want to keep my warranty... Go for the drop brother!!

As for ride comfort it doesn't really change that much, lets face it this car doesn't ride good from the start so how much worse could it possibly get?
edit: wait no tune? yeah you're not done yet.

zephyr, thanks for the nice words, I know you like your car bone stock... so coming from you, it means a lot. Thanks for not calling me ricer... hehehe!
jakio, yep I had to try the 2 tone spoiler or else this idea would always itch me. It's a love or hate thing, at least it's different. The paint is water base so I can always change the pain pattern any day.
Walter, get the ground effect bro... go all the way... hahaha! (my turn to influence you)
Jeff, you are right... our car is not very smooth stock to begin with, so the H&R feels the same. No Tune guys... let's not even go there... hahaha!
Petro, thanks for the kind words... love your BOCA mods too.I'm trying to keep it clean like your 63.
Miami, thanks for the kind words. All my car has been white after I owned 1 black car... black is classy, but hard to maintain.
olsozwa (Matt), the ground effect would really compliment your black-out car. Stay tuned, the 19's will go on in few weeks.
Sin, I dont have a wife yet, so that's why I play with my car while I can... hehehe! What is a tune? ... hahaha!
chief, thanks for the compliments. Drop me a PM if you ever come down to Ottawa. I go to MTL often, but never drive my 63 there.

Nick, I'm glad you like it. I know how you feel about the H&R... but luckily, it's not as low as I thought it would be. Loving your new GL though!! Is your C63 brother in this forum?

rcbenz, it took me a while before I put all the mods together. I ordered everything during the winter while the car was stored. It was a long winter... hehehe!
sb, thanks for the compliments. I love your black wheels... makes me regret not going dark colour with my 19's since I have lots of CF now.
I'd like to give a special thanks to member Harrower for not only hooking me up with some great deals on some parts, but for all his help & patience answering/guiding me throughout my modding process. David, I know you've moved on from the C63 scene to something better, but on behalf of many members here... your generosity & time will be remembered!!
