One other car I considered was the CTS-V. Worth looking into in my opinion if you crave power. Not quite as nice in the looks department IMHO but the cheap power and bullet proof motor and cheap parts/fixes make it a beast. There are times I wish I had bought the CTS-V but I think it would just get me into trouble because I'd want the thing to have 800hp. lol. That being said the depreciation is terrible on both the MB and the CTS-V so you better love the car before you buy it. I bought my '09 C63 with literally 600 miles on it last September. So I let someone else take most of the hit for me. Once the 2012 facelift 63's come out, it's going to get killed. Luckily, they do not have the 5.5TT motor or else our cars would have even less residual. Just my 2 cents.

^^^ true but you don't have to worry if you keep your C63 for a few years, in other words, keeping your car for a long time will eventually make no difference in depreciation. As far is the 5.5 liter twin turbo engine, don't worry, it has been announced to not be part of the 2012 due to poor chasi/power combo.

I am letting go of my E92 335i very soon, i'm having a hard time choosing my next car though
So far it's down to
C63 AMG
Audi S5
or a
E92 M3..
I know this is a MB forum so most people will say C63, but im hoping i won't get biased answers
Im selling the 335i because i just want something new and the funds allow for it as well
Im leaning more towards the C63 right now... i know its a beast and FBO 335i's can barely keep up, and a ecu flash makes those things move.. and it sounds beastly!!
I've considered the M3 but i feel after coming from a heavily modded 335i it just won't feel as fast. I know their strong points are top end, but i do not track my cars at all, just daily driven and a little bit of spirited driving. I don't have money to supercharge it either so that's not a option.
I loved the torque on my modded 335i, which is why i think im leaning more towards the C63.
Also the Audi S5 is very a good looking car inside and out, i know they are a little behind in terms of performance with the C63 and M3, but i'm wondering how mod friendly these cars are?
I have yet to test drive any of them, and i know thats the first thing i need to do, just wanted some opinions from MBworld members first![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

One full glorious throttle start in a C63 and all those worries about depreciation will melt away as fast as the threads in the rear tires!

They're all good cars. Drive them all as extensively as you can, and you'll know which one is right for you. Reading reviews and getting opinions can help you narrow the field, but your personal preference has to be the deciding factor.
For me, the C63 was love at first drive. And not for any one reason alone. Everything about the car just clicked: power, handling, seats, sounds, steering wheel, looks, etc.

It seem like you are 2 doors person and going fast in straight line. I believe you should get a 2012 C63 Coupe with P31 pkg.
I traded my 2008 335I to 2011 335IS with DCT 3 days ago. So now i have a car can put more boost with DCT and not to worry about cooling system BMW does it all. Also i still have 2011 C63 P31 and 2009 M3 with DCT. I know it's tough decision. That's why i bought them all.

Thanks guys, very helpful information ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I do have one question though, how does the C63 handle compared to the 335i?
I have the sport package on mine and feel like it handles great! Got very used to it.
Also quite a few ex 335i members here haha
I've considered the 1M, but the interior is crap, and its a little to small for me.
Im excited to see the new 2012 C63 Interior.
GTR would be nice, but for a daily driver? Im not sure
Coming from the 335i i would have to get used to the C63 Gas mileage however haha
And Not a fan of the CTS-V, looks horrible

All these cars handle the same, the only difference would be at speeds above 70mph turns.
Or If your asking the perception of handling, well that's for **** who thinks BMW handle better than F/P cars because BMW is designed specifically to give the illusion of firm handling.

I test drove the 335i sedan before getting the C63, and I felt that the C63 handled better, though at the expense of a firmer ride (which I've now gotten used to, so it doesn't really bother me much anymore). And of course the C63 feels more muscular also.

The 335i is a nice car, no question there. However I'd still consider it a luxury car with some sportiness. I've usually described the car as a hi speed luxury bubble.
OTOH the C63 is a performance car with luxury options. There's nothing subtle about this car.
In terms of handling, the 335i has a harsher ride if you use stock RFT. It could corner but it feels a little too spongy sometimes. There is also a barely perceptible turbolag in terms of off-the -line punching power.
C63, there's no turbo lag (of course) but there is that moment of getting the back wheels to grip if you've just mashed the throttle. Hitting a corner, it feels to me that the engine weight just holds the nose in and the car just relies on brute force to power your way out.

plus there is the stealth factor. With so many C class cars driving around, hardly anyone notices the C63, unless they're enthusiasts.
