Specialforces21 I will be back early next year. i spoke with the MB dealer in Ramstein I was asking them about getting some stuff from Barbus and they said the same thing that it would void my warranty from MB, but then i would be covered by Barbus.

Okay, so now I am pissed.. Like I said I got my invoice from MB and they are telling my car won't be ready for delivery until Sept 29th when I was originally scheduled for August 28... I called my salesman and was pretty pissed. He called the factory for me and supposedly moved me to the second launch phase.. He is also confused but thinks it has to do with when a few weeks ago I wanted to add the carbon fiber package on and then decided against it. But when he called the factory to tell them to originally add before deciding against it, they told him if they add it I wouldn't get the car until the second launch phase. Well when I decided not to get the CF, I guess the factory already moved my vehicle into the second phase even though I wasn't getting the CF. So now he called and flipped on the factory and told them that they need to honor the original delivery date because we are not getting the CF and he told them that. So now the lady at the factory said she will get back to him in a few days as she is trying to push up delievery and switch it back to the 1st launch. They need to get their act together. So now for 2-3 days I have to stress until I get my answer back as to if I will get the car by late August. UNREAL

I also called about my car today. It went out from the factory 19.7 and was for some reason sent to the performance studio at affalterbach. Is that where they install the PP?

My dealer has been trying to get a production date for mine and STILL doesn't have an answer. He's onto his third dealer liason now since the other two didn't give a **** and said wait and see.

Affalterbach is where AMG is located. it sounds like it rolls off a normal factory line and then gets send over for the finishing touches.

My 2012 C63 order had a firm build date for July, then it was pushed to August, then September. This wasn't just fluff from the dealer, I saw the dates with my own eyes.

My dealer just sent me my car's VIN number, and told me to expect a September delivery stateside. But I think we must be zen about these things. I've reached a state of acceptance; it gets here when it gets here.
I feel for everyone who ordered theirs with the performance package. Clearly they are creating some measure of chaos with the build dates.
