It's a clear bra protective covering with the matte finish. Didn't want to just do a normal hood clear bra because of the lackluster one had I on my E55, but this gave me he ability to give the car a flat matte finish and protect the entire car at the same time.

As far as price, that's something you'd have to discussm with ACG. I know I've been quoted from other places in SD between $5000-7000k for the entire car.

Oh, and I forgot to add, we're matching the chrome pieces/emblems to the brushed aluminum look of the wheels.

You couldn't hold it in could you lol.... I don't blame you after I started to send you teaser in progress photos... we'll have the full vehicle wrapped today, then we'll install the bumper and lights. Next we'll install all of the "brush tinted" chrome pieces and she'll be ready to come home.

Oh and we'll also be installing our new 2pc slotted race rotors as well.

I'm not a fan of working both days on the weekend but this job is a special treat... we'll worth the extra time and effort... its gonna look SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen, either you tell your kids nothing about what they are getting for Christmas/Hanukkah (in my case) or you tell them everything. Otherwise, if you give them any hints, you will see presents that have been opened and re-wrapped or little tears here and there to see what's inside. So like a kid awaiting his final gift, it was only a matter of time before I posted teaser pics!!! lol.

The fact that James and the ACG crew have put so much time and effort into my car and really going beyond the call of duty to get this done in a timely fashion, just reinforces why I have trusted them with my car. As I told James recently (and as I have lamented in posts here), "Remember when I said I wasn't going to mod my car?" Well this wrap looks like it's going to be super bananas!!!

Wait until i send you pictures of the tinted chrome pieces... so far we have the hood, passenger and driver side doors, rear quarter and fenders completed. we're just about to start on the roof, then trunk, bumpers, rear spoiler. we'll reinstall the door handles and roof rail, wrap those and maybe call it a day.

I'll post a few more pictures as we get to them, enjoy.

Was wanting to do the same thing! I know its gonna look awesome! Trust me, I have had in small areas to test the look!! I just freek out with taking the car apart!!!

To do this job properly, you need to remove all of the chrome trim, door handles, grille, loosen the bumpers, remove the mirrors etc... its a lot of work but the end results will speak for themselves...

Thanks. I was hesitant of even mentioning getting it done, but once James showed me swatches laid against my car, it was clear (no pun intended) that my car would have a whole new look. I'm very excited.

James: Since you have his bumper off, will there be any benefit in removing the cover that blocks the front driver-side vent on the bumper cover? I'm thinking it may enhance cooling a little.

We are actually prospecting another location now, but honestly at this point it would either be LA, Bay area, or up in the Pacific Northwest.

The reason why the grille is blocked on the driver side is because there is no ducting there, and all its really doing is covering the ugly secondary air pump.

ACG has some performance 2-piece rotors that I purchased (with help from some smart Black Jack moves I made this weekend for my annual birthday trip to a small city in the Nevada desert).

Now, James, get back to work!!!!! Kidding.
