CEL!! the code is P0455!! ;(
so I asked one of my friends about it..
then he told me to check the gas cap and make sure it is tight and closed..
so I did that, then it went away..
HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 days ago.. it happened again..
then it doesn't go away so far!!
I can go to the dealershop but.. the only thing i worry about is..
if they need to reflash my ECU!!! since i got ecu tuned by kleemann..
You guys have any idea what I should do?! ;(
It feels so uncomfortable when my car runs w/ CEL on it..
even though it's not that serious prbm!!
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make me happy guys!!

Could be the purge valve.

I have had messages on my dash ater reilling my gas tank beyond its recommended capacity but it was never a CEL, it was just a simple mesaage on the dash board.
I don't believe they flash the ECU all ***** nilly like that, I would think they would go other routes (gas cap, purge valve, etc) and reflash probably as a last resort if nothing else works and they still can't figure it out..

I recently had a CEL with a simultaneous gas cap loose warning. The cap did not seem loose when I checked it. After tightening, I no longer had a gas cap warning but the the CLE stayed on.
The code was P0455 which I cleared. So far so good, but we'll see if CEL returns.
Note- I took HHughes' advice from another thread and bought a OBD-II reader from Advance Auto. I selected an Actron CP9575 which, unfortunately, would not work with my C63. I keep getting a "Link Error" read. I downloaded the latest software, but still could not get it to work. Their 800 tech line did not ring. I tried the Advance loaner--a CP9580 (high end model)--and it did not work either, again Link Error. The Advance guys had no explanation, other than telling me to check the car's diagnostic fuse (which was OK). The CP9575 worked fine with my E350 and MDX.
Frustrating, but I returned it to Advance with no problems. Earlier in the day I borrowed an Actron Pocket Span Plus (less expensive) loaner from Pep Boys and (surprise, surprise) it worked fine on the C63. It linked, read the code and deleted the CEL with no problem.I'll buy another reader as soon as the next CEL comes my way.....

then.. they were like.. "we don't even need to reflash ur ecu.."
and they just switch the purge valve for free..

then the CEL is gone
Cuz of my poor english? Don't make me sad!! Hehe~
Im getting out of work!! Yay~
Have u guys thought how i feel when i stay whole night at ER on Independence day!!
But im done!! Hahahahaha!! Heading home and swimimg on my bed w/ my pillow;;

Good call, thanks. Should have just copped what you were using. It's clear that Actron models are not the way to go for C63's. Hit and miss. One of 3 models read my car. With a search, I now see that others have had the same problems.

I'm sure your last few patients weren't real happy about you doing an all-nighter, and that swimming with the pillow thing sounds dangerous...
“P0455”
I personally had this P0455 issue right after I replaced my leaky fuel filter that was identical to this issue. https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...it-filter.html
I had tried an aftermarket purge valve and gas cap before I discovered a video from an E55 on youtube with the same problem. He replaced his shut-off valve and purge valve which did the trick. So I did the same and have been CEL free now for 2 weeks. I also replaced the aftermarket purge valve (the solenoid was incredibly loud) with the OEM part from a dealership. The original shut-off valve attached to the vapor canister was in terrible condition and literally fell apart in my hands after taking it out. So if you're desperate to try something, please check these out! The vapor canister is behind the fabric of the wheel well the passenger side (US) right rear wheel and you don't even need to take the whole thing out, not a hard job, just a dirty one.
FYI - if you buy the whole vapor canister it should come with a shut-off valve included
203-470-06-59-64 - Vapor Canister (might be easier to find compared to just the shut-off valve)
001-470-13-93 - Shut-off Valve
000-470-88-93 - Purge Valve Solenoid
