I think the C63 driver is better than the GTR driver as he had to spend most of his time trying to keep the dam thing on the track and still held on to the GTR.

I think both drivers need more track time.
The GT-R owner seemed confused and unfocused, didn't know how to go into the turn and hit the apexes.
He should have put miles on the C63 if he knew how to drive.
The C63 was all over the place, needs to work more on keeping the car on the track rather then off.

It is easy to criticize like the others. Kudos to both owners taking their car to the track.
I must admit that the C63 driver has ***** trailing GTR that close. It would not have taken much for him to end up rear ending the GTR.
Could the C63 driver be somewhat inexperienced and overzealous???
Thanks for sharing.

+2 on more track time. the C63 looked out of control and was in the grass for some turns. the guy in the GT-R seemed very cautious.
not really a good representation of a dogfight between both cars, but pretty cool nonetheless.

The GTR is fully capable of running circles around the C63 on the track. My friend just got a 2012 GTR and it came with a new stability management that allows a turn to be completed with the maximum speed allowed.
The driver pulls into the turn and puts the pedal to the floor and the adaptive management controls the car and applies the brakes and the gas to pull it through as fast as possible. Theres an on ramp that I can typically do 65 MPH in my 328i that has Bilstein PSS9's, the GTR took it at 110 and climbing while allowing the adaptive control to pull the car through. In this video it comes down to being a good driver, the C63 driver clearly has more experience, and the GTR owner is very cautious.

Technology will evolve and will take out any skills that need to be acquired on the track for proper driving. Very soon, you will not need to drive (anyone seen i-robot). This will be a sad day for car buffs like us.
The GT-R makes an unskilled driver thinks he is Schumacher and that is also very dangerous . When that person takes another car and thinks he can use the same speed, accidents will occur...
Going back to the OP's point, the C63 is no match for the GT-R on a track with similarly skilled drivers. The video had different drivers therefore the results of both cars being close.
