if a person just got a c63 and he/she asks how the car should be driven half of you guys would say drive it like you stole it, drive it how it should be driven, etc. now if someone drives it like it should be driven everyone tells him to slow down and be safe?

Ahhh... "Driving like a douche"
Guilty... as im sure 99% of the C63 owners are. Quick launches. Downshift blipping.. loud exhaust. To an "Old lady" and to most every day people who just dont get it, its douchey.
17,27,37,57... this guy is being judged for his age, not the action.
To most of you judging this kid.. unless he said he was weaving in and out of traffic and racing on side streets take a good look in the mirror. Most of us drive like douches as I defined above. If you dont then I suggest you drop your car off at the nearest toyota dealer and get a Prius.

Yes, all of us drive like douches, that's why we're here, to become better douches. If you ever saw me in my M5 up and down the Jersey Turnpike, you would have cursed the day I was born. I didn't care what it was, I was passing it.

Did she look good for her age? You should have thrown her off by flirting with her. Who knows....you may have had yourself a cougar to supply your mod habit.

This topic been discussed in other forms many times before.
It’s impossible to condone speeding and/or unsafe driving practices but the reality is, a lot of us have done it at one time or another and we are alive to tell the tale.
I don’t want to sound like a do-gooder but if one of my sons were caught driving erratically, I’d be happy for someone to call them whatever suits their vocabulary.
Tell them enough times and hopefully it will sink in and they don’t become another road statistic. I know when I was young and even after seeing some friends never get a second chance, I was still too stupid to understand how quickly it can all go wrong.
Luck jumps around, I hope it sticks with you my friend. I get shivers up my spine when I think of some of the close calls I had that could have just as easily taken my passengers and other road users away. I guess I’m now too old to feel immortal.

How would I have reacted? I certainly wouldn't have poked the lady even more. So what if she's upset... no need to make her more angry. I would have said sorry and then just ignored her. This whole business of asking for her name, totally unnecessary.

Exactly. I think the point is not to avoid making people angry... people will get angry for lots of reasons. The point is not to get upset because people got angry. It is better when you have a tough skin, and simply carry on. It's not really about being in the right or in the wrong.

lady: you drive like an a$$hole
me: (donkey punch)
me: (donkey punch)
But seriously I would have probably done the apology/ignore thing. I'm not going to get into a heated discussion with someone like that.
