Um, I thought that Kleemann and Weistec both had them. Ive read alot about both and if it were me, I would got with the Kleemann. BUT....I also have nothing against the Weistec (I may have spelled Weistec wrong)

I'm going to start a Weistec installation next week. We'll see what the dyno says before and after along with AFRs. Hopefully it doesn't make the motor go boom.

Also...

It needs to be remembered that there are two mostly incompatible ways to get power out of the car. A full normally aspirated tune with intake and exhaust mods. This will yield a lot of power.

Somewhat more power can be had with forced induction. In some cars, a lot more. But on a high compression motor you can't generally combine both tuning methods, they aren't usually compatible. You can't blow in 5-8 psi and also have a lot of timing in the motor on high compression engines. You'll blow it up.

So, when a SC is supposed to make an additional 125 HP lets say and maybe a tune adds 100, you don't get 225 by tuning a SC motor. You get maybe 140-150HP.

I think its easy to be disappointed in a SC or turbo application on a high compression motor with lots of room for NA tuning because of this casual thought that the SC will add its rated power to gains seen from NA modification programs.

I probably haven't expressed myself well on this but I hope I'm understandable.

+1 well said.

A c63 which was fully modded by MHP with the v3 tune recently had the weistec supercharger, only added 40 rwhp.

I am still waiting for a 63 apllictation dynoing around 600 rwhp

someone needs to come out with low pressure pistons for this engine, and all hell will break loose

JE Pistons will do it and there are tons of piston parameters you can tweak. I have no idea how much the rods will take.

http://www.jepistons.com

They have made custom forged pistons for me multiple times.

thats intresting. I'm not sure if they will be able to tweak the 63 though. It seems that they work more on American and japaneses cars. will have to call them and check. Thank you

They made pistons for my E36 M3 when I converted it to turbo. Custom ring sizes, skirts, valve dishes to prevent interference. They do it all.
