It's only my personal preference but can you get the rear bumper customized to be a bitter wider and have the fender flare blend right into this bumper. I think where the arc joins with the horizontal crease would line up perfectly with the front bumper/flare. This is what I observed from the top 2 pics you posted.

You can't do exactly that. The bumper would be too short when pulled out. In an arc, it loses it's reach. But this is Phase I. Phase II furthers a theme and incorporates new elements. In real life it's not awkward. Nor is it complete.

Jim, I really don't think you can do much else to the car.
You have literally done every mod on this car, only things missing are CF hood, CF trunk, and CF roof.

No. It was originally bought to drive at Bullrun as a backup to my Porsche. I didn't do that. It's secondary purpose is to drive to work between my various commercial and residential properties. Because of some of my business opportunities I'm able to use the car as a show car for products and write the car off. I never had any intention to track the car. And I recently had a stroke causing blurred vision in my left eye. I have no business being on a road course track with other cars on it. Whether or not I should be drag racing, frankly, I did that already 30 years ago. I'm over it.

i am really sorry that you are having these medical issues......but why must you put , in almost every reply , something about you either having money , not caring about money , throwing money away or just giving money away
. i came back to this thread , after i don't know how long , to see how things turned out for you but i saw that very little had changed about your " i'm so rich attitude " . i am happy that you are very well off financially but there are plenty of other people , including myself , that are doing very well for themselves and don't post it in every reply they make . i think this is the reason very few people backed you up in this whole situation . i hope everything works out for you in the end ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Out Of Control!
I wasn't sure about the rims myself in the beginning and actually have a second set on order. But I was nervous for nothing. The rims are amazing and everyone that stops to look at the car takes pictures of the wheels. And it's usually the rear with smaller brakes but more lip.
HRE has a hit on their hands.

The car looks incredible to say the least in person and I was able to check and observe the wheel and brake setup. Just some interesting observations.
The HRE lips have been clearcoated as well as the face correct?
The Brembos up front are 6 piston as opposed to 8 correct? And 4 piston in the back?
Also what model are the other set of HRE's you have on order? 940RL?
The current ones you have on there does't have that "wow" factor in it. Again just my personal observation.
Last question...when can I test drive it?

Ive never denied being odd. Not do I much care. But if it makes anyone feel better, I do in fact have a reason for acting the way I do. Explaining it would void weeks of work.
So... Yep, odd as hell. Sociopathic maybe. But I'm trying to be humble about it![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Let me explain my philosophy on cars wheels. It's the same as makeup or jewelry on a woman.
Wheels should complement "the package". If the wheels are WOW then they are a failure. A woman can't rely on makeup or jewelry to make her overall look. Classic beauty is about the whole package and each accessory should complement the package. When you think about cars that have amazing wheels, the car itself is a failure. It's like the companies that hire amazing hood ho's to stand there. You probably remember the girl and can't remember the company she was fronting.
My wife was Miss Nokia 2004. Her shoes probably helped. But I'm pretty sure she was on billboards all over Hong Kong for the whole package.

I'm told that damage to the optic nerve rarely reverses itself. It is what it is. There are many people worse off than me by far. I'm not going to mope about it. But I'm probably more intense in getting things in order since its apparent that I have limits on how much more time I have.
Jim
PS: this is also one of the reasons I pay ACG in advance. I got criticized for that too. But if I dropped dead right now, everyone is ok financially. Assuming my heirs would be willing to pay for my car follies, it would take weeks at least to get them to do it. See? Reasons for everything I do.

I'm going to try.
I'm not against wheels with some wow factor. They just have to go on cars that are going for that look.
The Crowne Jewels look good on a monarch at their inauguration. They would be too much on the most beautiful woman wearing a little black dress at a cocktail party.

Rappers are trying to be over the top. I'm not. I agree it's subjective. I agree with your points. I just subjectively think some wheels would break the look I'm going for.

wow, just read the whole thread beginning to end... amazing car your building... I'm extremely impressed with the bodywork, aside for the way it integrates with the bumpers, but seeing as this is just a transitional point I guess I can see why that happened. that shop really has some nice fabricating skills & equipment. love the hand made metal flares. lots of skill on the english wheel to accomplish that. I can't help but walk away from this thread now just feeling extremely poor & insignificant
also just want to add that many here have said that jsp is a real dick... I can't agree... I give him a lot of respect and admiration,,,, def a no BS kind of guy that knows how to get results... wish I could be more like that in some ways at least, maybe I wouldn't be so poor in the first place
not a very complacent guy to say the least, but probably a large part of the reason he was able to amass as much fortune as he has & is the leader that he obviously is... whomever he offered a weekends mentor ship to in this thread to show how he could help guide how they run there business & scheduling would have to be a fool to not take him up on that...

2012 C63 Coupe P31
I think the car looks great ! love the little details on the hood, the wide body, the interior and the wheels... everything ties together nicely. It's very eye catching without being gaudy. I think it's very true to what these cars are at heart. Understated (looks wise) performance machines. Lets face it, the changes to the C63 from the regular C class are subtle, easy to see if you know what to look for but not nearly as showy as some other performance cars. Which is part of what I love about these cars. They have the right amount of show and go. Classic good looks with enough get up and go to catch most people by surprise. Congrats on the car!
I now really want want a wide body kit after seeing these pics. Just makes the car look that much more beefy.

Read it the whole thread! LoL I only wanted to see how much HP you had and wound reading all of it.![Popcorn](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/popc1.gif)
This was really good.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I am looking forward to reading your next build. I’m sure it will be just as amazing.
That is a real bummer with the stroke. Hope you have a speedy recovery and stay healthy!

I'll be down tomorrow to sketch out how I want a few things.
1. Buy a plasma cutter.
2. Take the dashboard out.
3. Get the pin stripping finished.
4. Get the audio guy over again. Its time.
5. Get final answer from HRE.
6. Meeting with Weistec by phone or in person regarding more goodies.
Finish the 993, you're going to need the room.
