I got drag racing out of my blood in my teens. So, no quarter mile times will be run by me. 60 to 130 maybe but not on a track, perhaps a accelerometer type data meter. But really I care about clean AFRs on the dyno and no choppiness in the traces. After that, if I look at a hole in traffic and my car magically fills that hole without conscious effort on my part, I'm happy.

Can you provide any details on the head work p/p?
* where are the weak points choke points in the stock c63 heads? ex side? intake side? bowl blending? larger valves? did you port match the ex ports to the headers? Any port match to blower? any bench data... or secret?
Any danger areas when porting where walls are thin and danger of going into a water jacket?
Upgrade springs?
Ti Retainers?
Lot's of questions

I wonder if the n/a c63's would benefit from the headwork and exhaust and tune for the non-blown crowd?

Watching with bated breath as you build this MONSTER>

Pertplus (or anyone else in San Diego/LA) can run my car in SD if he wants. I don't care. It just doesn't interest me.

As I wrote earlier in the thread, Anyone that wants to drive it and can get to the car, you're welcome to do so. Its just a car.

Have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and stay out of the rev limiter and you can drive it if you are in town.

The one thing I'm careful with is not killing myself or someone else. I love the people who want someone to take off full throttle down the road while keeping a video camera focused on the gauge cluster.

Some people just need to have the crap smacked out of them.

All these questions need to be directed to Weistec Engineering. Given that this is one of the very first set of heads for this car on the market, I don't know how much info they would want to share publicly.

I'll take some videos on and off the dyno. We will first put the heads and the supercharger on the car and see how it works out. If everything runs smoothly, we will continue installing all the other bits and pieces on the car.

I cant wait to see this monster come to life.

... at what point is it not about making more horse power, but instead just trying to keep the tires on the ground?

I didn't see anything in the build spec's about how you are going to keep all that fury connected to the pavement

Phase 2 will include a widebody conversion and the HREs will be sent back to have new barrels put on to accomodate 315s.

Also, for those friends visiting from 6SpeedOnline, the 996TT upgrades are all complete and the motor just got put back in the car. The mechanics are starting the job of hooking the motor back up and maybe by Friday we'll be rolling that car onto the dyno. We will get 600AWHP I'm certain and we might pour a tank of race gas in it and see if we can hit 700 next week. Fun stuff.

That would be one special C63. Josh has the title of the "Dragon." We need a name for your car.

After the intercooler is installed along with the stage II components ACG will then be able to locate additional engine oil and transmission coolers. I'm considering a oil reservoir system for the engine with a pump to hold perhaps twice the volume and provide more cooling capacity. I done seen this thing in a NASCAR ride one time....

Looks like the unit bolts on pretty good. Is there any cutting or grinding or the stock parts?
