Have you driven both of these cars? Have you ever been on a track?
You certainly do not have to be Mario Andretti to feel the difference in handling between these two cars. Even on the street it is apparent.

I was there before cross-shopping the M3 sedan and C63. IMO, I like the looks of the M3. Don't get me wrong, the agressive lines of the C63 are appealing as well. But, the M3 looked more "fluid" to me. In the end, it was the way the C63 sounded and how I can get from one stop light to the other quicker than the M3 since I do not track the car.

the M3 vs C63 debate will continue forever. they are very different cars, as many noted. here's my take:
the AMG is a ultra-LUXURY ultra-performace sedan. all the things that make C63 better, also increases its weight, over the M3. the AMG seats are the best seats anywhere, but add extra 100 pounds. there are 2x2 cats, 2 resonators, and 2 dual exhausts, which also add weight, but contribute to the awesome sound. the sunroof adds 50 pounds. the spare tire, the DVD changer, retractable screen and 300watt amp, 6.2L V8, 7+2 speed tranny, huge battery, etc etc all add weight. slam the door (or crash the car) and you'll see it's built like a vault.
so the M3 handles better because it has significant weight advantage (plus tuned for track), but I wouldn't give up those things above, because it makes your daily drive awesome. many C63 owners track their cars, just get an ECU tune (500hp), LSD, and sticky tires. you'll blow away the M3s on the track, and C63 is an amazing DD. just read some posts on this forum to see what AMG owners do.

the DCT is cool though on the M3. though I like being jolted forward w gear changes. stay away from the MCT though, it's just an automatic without torque converter (see other posts).

as for girls, I think girls in general think MBs are more expensive anyways.

What the weight is nearly the same.

BMW just has an illusion on you. If you got into an F40 you will probably think it cant handle well too since you need to treat it like a true machine. There is real feedback. BMW did something like sprint booster to their steering wheels to people to make "BEILVE" their cars goes faster. Your under the spell that it turns easily. The C63 will do exactly the same if not better.

I think the curb weight of a barebones C63 is 3924lbs which is 200 pounds more than barebones M3 sedan 3726lbs (Edmunds.com). then you add the optional AMG premium seat package, MMI/premium sound system, and sunroof, that's easily 200 pounds extra. 400 pounds is HUGE difference on track.
