no seriously... trunk money WAS rebate back money from MB in 09. it might have been around during 08 but i dont recall for certain. so my deal was basically 7.5 rebate from MB and negotiated 7.5 off sticker for 15K off. like some have pointed out... it helps to have several dealers close to negotiate with. plus you have to remember back then cars were sitting for a long time and the dealers were loosing money on them so they HAD to be moved even IF it meant at a small loss. (no idea if they lost money on mine or not just pointing that out)

I bought new 2011 C63 sedan 3 weeks ago. 2 different dealers offered me 12% off, so I would say that it is not unreasonable to expect somewhere between 10-14%.
