got my ecu, its amazing punchier down low, but the biggest gains are up top, it just hauls.
However, a friend of mine noticed that my exhaust spat out sparks at one point, anyone know what thats about?

So +70-80hp, instead of doing 145 at the end of the straight at Monticello I'd be doing 155-160 which means with the stock brakes I'd have go full brake quite a bit earlier--bottom line are the stock brakes up to the task?

I also got my V3 tune and can confirm it hauls major @ss...hope to get track numbers to quantify the increase in power with real-world times.

Now that being said, there isn't anyone that has upgraded to V3 that hasn't been extremely pleased....

I got my ECU back yesterday, and have only put about 100 miles on the car since. It is a VERY noticeable difference. Its been getting better, and better the more I drive. The pull from 4th gear up is incredible! The power is constant all the way to redline.

Getting the car ready for a track day with new 2 piece rotors and pads from Evosport for extra stopping and expect to send the brain for the new tune on Monday. As prep I did some dyno pulls to establish a baseline for the car which is factory stock with about 26k miles. The shop I go to use a Mustang dyno which reads about 10-15% lower than a dynotech. 1st pull in 5th and at 5800+ rpm car hit the speed limiter at a perceived 153 mph. The peak #s were 357hp and rising and the curve extrapolates to about 372hp peak at about 6700rpms, which is only a best guess, not for comparison. Torque peaked at 4500 rpm @ 339 ft/lbs. We did a pull in 4th so we could red line the car and have comparable #s for a post tune dyno run. Those #s were 338hp at 6700 rpms and 321 ft/lbs @ 4400 rpms. I will post the #s after I get the new chip in and get to the dyno which is scheduled for next Friday.

I haven't dyno'd since I 've received V3 (just last week) but on a dynojet the car put down 415hp 373tq, no other mods no baseline to compare to. With V3 I have K&N filters in now. It has been to gosh darn hot lately to see/feel the additional power, but the car does seem to come alive differently than before. Thanks Jerry/staff for the FAST turn-around.

I have read on this forum that the new (late 2011) ECU has additional encryption to protect against after market tuning. Will this affect the Eurocharged software? If not, then as a new customer, will I get V3?
Thanks
