C63 Coupe - ordered this week
The LSD debate has been done to death on this forum and you will do your head in trying to unravel fact from fiction and the inherent biases of people looking to justify their own decision to go with/without the locking diff option.
What you really need to do - and not sure how easy this will be to sort out (perhaps your dealer??) - is drive 2 C63s, one with the LSD and one without? Even better try driving it blinded to which car is fitted with the locking diff and see if you can pick it when using your everyday driving style.

That makes good sense.
I don't want LSD, I only go fast straight. I miss having the roar of a V8 having driven Chev V8's most of
my life. Was only looking a resale. The dealer says not required and wont increase resale. Do you have
LSD?
For the US boys. My C63 Coupe at my current specs is over $180,000 Aussie Dollars here!!!!!
We can't afford to bend them. different buyers here I'd say over 40y+
Thanks for the congrats.
Maybe 100 more sleeps.

Sept build, Oct/Nov delivery.
I did decide to get the LSD along with the P31 package. Figured what the heck. I am wondering if it is going to have the carbon fiber mirrors like the Diamond White one did in all the ads.
I am already shopping for aftermarket CF rear diffusers, new rims and tires. This could get interesting. Hopefully the wife isn't watching the bank acct!

Before I bought my car in the US I had a deposit on one back in Canada. They called me about a month ago and told me that their first c63 allotment (of which I had a deposit on) was unable to have the P31 package so if I really wanted the car I was going to have to take it without the P31 or wait till Oct for a build with a Dec delivery that had a P31. I didn't like that so I cancelled my order. In the meantime I moved to the US.
When I was shopping down here and settled on a dealer, I sat with the New Car Manager and we tried to modify the C63 allotment that he had available for a Sept build. But again, he couldn't add the P31 without some internal error saying call the distribution center. He then searched allotments that already had p31 packages installed, found one in NC, called the dealer on the spot, dealer traded it for his allotment and now I have a Sept build with P31 package. It was difficult but doable.
So morale of the story, they exist, but they are hard to find at the moment. Seems as they are limiting the stock of P31s on the initial build.
That's my story.

With C63's 600NM of torque, I figure the rear could probably benefit from a helping hand, on our roads at least.
BTW have you been to your dealer to see the coupe yet? They launched in Oz yesterday....

...good luck
