Thanks for threads like this.
Glad you made the switch, you will be very happy with the PSS.
Btw Hankook raised its prices on the EVO V12. 275/30/19's used to cost 180-190, now they're $250.

+1
That's one of the reasons why I changed to PSS.
The Hankooks used to flex too much under heavy cornering.

Nope...I run 19X10 with +52 offset and 275/30/19's and don't have any issues whatsover...not with passengers, not with massive compression, not in the corners, not under acceleration, etc...

As a sidenote, my PSS's are better than I could have imagined in my own mind. The most impressive part about them is how much grip they have in the rain - where you would normally plow out in a turn, these things just keep on gripping..you can literally feel the tire grabbing the road. Amazing when you consider that this is in 30-40 degree temperatures.

You guys are doing a great job of convincing the rest of us that these are the tires we need. Where do I sign up? Will there be a shortage of these tires in the spring? lol

And for general clarification on the rim thing, manufacturer specs for both 18 and 19" wheels is +45 in the front and +54 in the rear..

PSS are great tires in all respects. They are, IMO, the very best all around performance tire made today when it comes to blending noise comfort, road comfort, dry and wet grip, tread life and responsiveness.

For someone wanting all out dry performance and a tire that stands up well at the track, there are better choices (RE-11, AD08, etc) but you sacrifice daily drivability to some extent.

The only downside for me is that the tire runs wide and looks meaty. A PSS in 245/35 looks wider and taller than a 245/35 RE-11 to me. If you like the lean look, the PSS doesn't give that appearance. On my M3, I actually much preferred the look of the RE-11 to the PSS. I also liked the dry road performance of the RE-11 better but it was a harsher ride and no where near as capable in the wet. I went PSS on the C63 as the suspension is firmer than the M3 (in comfort mode the M3 was fairly compliant) and I didn't want to rattle my brains out. I very likely will try the RE-11 next go around to compare the two tires.

From all reports, the Invos are behind many other high performance tires in grip level. Good tires but not up to par with the new generation of Max performance tires. I believe the Invos are classified as Ultra high performance which is a step below the Maximum performance category of the PSS (which is also a step down from the Extreme performance category of the RE-11, AD08, etc).

Nitto Invos and Michellin PSS aren't even in the same league.
Get your self some PSS and you'll see what superb grip is all about.
