Very similarly spec'd car to mine, but I bought mine brand new (with $82k MSRP) almost exactly a year ago for $75k-ish (I forget the exact cost now, hahaha).
So, unfortunately I think you'll be lucky to get something in the $60s and possibly high $50s.
GLWS and I'll be curious to see what you get, but be prepared to reduce significantly if you really have to sell!
Such is life with buying new cars, especially AMGs!
You know the old saying, gotta pay to play!

Nice car. For future reference don't say that you want 72k but will probably sell it cheaper anyway. Now, after this, why would anyone wanna pay 72? Anyhow, best of luck and hope that you get it moving soon!

Selling 2011 C63 With Development Package
Thanks all.
I have an extra car at home for the next year while my son is studying abroad.
Since his vehicle is a one your old lease, I can't sell it, but welcome the opportunity to sell my "expensive car", and drive my sons car till I can free myself of some negative equity. I was negative in equity driving an Audi before the Merc., and saw a good opportunity to switch into the C63, thinking it would help my situation since I bought it discounted as well as the next buyer.
As far as asking price and selling price, I am thinking kind of the old eBay "buy it now" for 72k, or "best offer". I honestly do not know the market value other than a dealer will pay $60 cash. That means he will try and retail it for $72,000 and take a few grand less.
I hope this helps answer some of the questions out there. Please feel free to post or write me at any time robcut1@yahoo.com
By the way the car comes with a built in k40 which was an additional $2500.00

I do not disagree with the $65,000 value, but I do not think it would be fair to just "throw in" the $2500 k40 which was figured into the price I paid for the car. Should I take $67,500 now or wait to see what else the market would bear?
I do not know but would welcome the opportunity to decide?

Wow, the dealer offered $60k.
Maybe I'll trade mine in for a new CLS63
But I think I'd miss my car since it still smells new

NEW PICTURES!!! C63 with P31 AMG DEVELOPMENT FOR SALE
Hi all, thank you for all the very nice compliments on the car.
To update a bit, I have 3,100 miles now verses the 2600 I had put down on my original draft. Also, I have a written offer (which I turned down) and report on the vehicle (perfect as you would expect) from CARMAX if anyone would be interested in seeing. The wholesale on the car is now $58,000 according to carmax. Therefore the car should retail anywhere from $65,000 to $68,000. Of course, that doesn't take into account extras like the K40 or the paint protection which was done at the dealer but so be it.
Therefore, I would take the first $68,000 and negotiate at $65,000 or above.
I will be posting on ebay soon unless someone is interested on the forum so please post or email me Robcut1@yahoo.com
Thanks!
