Lightbulb Official Release: HRE 790RS Series - Images

HRE finally comes out with their long-awaited concave line of wheels. Personally, that wide split 5-spoke is a work of art.

FULL GALLERIES & PRICING INFO (ask 4 better price)

In-House Wheel / Tire Packages Available (see how we do it)
There are several reasons to buy from us. Firstly, we personally pick up HRE Forged wheels from their manufacturing facility in Southern California (they are 30 miles away from us). Secondly, we provide you with the most competitive pricing. Lastly, our mounting and balancing equipment and procedures insure that your wheels will not have exposed wheel weights or any type of damage.

The 790RS series is a 3-piece forged wheels line consisting of 4 styles defined by a dramatic, sweeping cuts sculpted from each spoke. Each style is distinctive in its own right, creating an aggressive yet refined, modern collection unmatched in the industry.

Features
- Sculpted Spokes: the aggressively sculpted spokes and modern Conical profile set a new standard, leaping beyond "concave".
- Conical Benefits: Conical profile without extra weight of typical concave designs; therefore, reducing Rotational Inertia and Unsprung Mass.
- Stronger, Lighter: Increased strength from previous 790R Series allowing increased fitment opportunities. The all-new 790RS also reduces weight by an average of 1lb over the outgoing 790R Series.
- Hardware: HRE hidden hardware creates a clean overal apperance.
- Center Caps: All-new, optional center caps including engraved aluminum and carbon fiber (also available in other HRE lines)

Fitments
- Diameter Range: 19" - 22"
- Sports Cars, GTs, Sports Sedans, Luxury Sedans

As of right now, the production time is 3-4 weeks for the 19" - 20" sizes and 2-3 weeks on the sizes 21" - 22".

I think on the right car these wheels will look great.
These designs are not for every car imo.

You will see them on the car soon enough

I am not a big fan of non-standard designs also but these are just right for certain applications. Right car with one of these designs in nice finish would look killer.

797 would probably look amazing two tone (matte black with polished face).

and ideas if us C63 owners will get any sort of concavity with these rims?

Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
I'm loving the 794 design. I think they would look great on a C63 if it had tinted centers with polished lips.

They are HRE's so they aren't that heavy. HRE believes in function before form. There was another thread that said these wheels are about 20 pounds.

They are in the same ballpark as 590RS series. That means that the wheels would weigh in in mid 20lb range.

We will see a set on a C63 soon enough. The designs are wilder then your average HRE wheel but its not over the top.

V12-Biturbo
Problem w/latest offering from HRE is their designs are too organic, they look more @ home in some modern art gallery. They're missing much needed mechanical symmetry ie ADV1/RENNEN Forged etc Lastly where's the Concave on these new HRE's? It too is lost in this latest attempt to change the game.. Back to the drawing board fellas...

I guess it's in the "eyes of the beholder"? NOT seeing this @ all..
Features
- Sculpted Spokes: the aggressively sculpted spokes and modern Conical profile set a new standard, leaping beyond "concave".

ADV, Rennen, Interad etc. have nice designs; however, they are very symetrical and super clean. They are all the standard designs done in concave shape forging targeted for a very specific and clean overal look. Also, the spokes are straight, there is no shape or form to them.

HRE simply targets a customer who is looking to step away from the classic concave designs and I think they have accomplished that well.
