Good aftermarket rotors for performance pkg??
Its time to do my brakes soon at 46,000km. Is anyone using aftermarket rotors and pads with good results? I am basically looking for something cheaper then stock ($3600 for 4 x pads and rotors)
I have the performance pkg on an '09.
Thanks guys.

Evosport rotors and OEM pads should run about $2600 with tax. Its a great setup.

There are a few great rotor options including Evosport, ACG, and Hyevon.
I got quoted $2K for the Hyevon rotors which is a great deal.
Here is a link.

Racing brake
If I tracked a car I would use their two piece rotors.

I've had Racing Brake slotted on several cars that are still in the field and think they are a superior product. Their designers have engineering degrees in automotive science. They specify superior metallurgy and machining. Their disks are lighter but just as strong.

They claim 40lbs unsprung weight savings over the OE rotors.
Front OEM Brake Rotor (1-pc, Non PP) = 35.56 lbs
Front OEM Brake Rotor (2-pc, P30) = 29.58 lbs
Front evosport Brake Rotor (2-pc) = 23.33 lbs
Just like Grane stated, its all unsprung weight which means better acceleration, braking and handling.

If you guys are looking for an inexpensive 1 peice option, check out:

You can get all four rotors for less than $1k. The quality and the weight savings probably won't be the same as a racing brake, but by the sounds of the reviews, they certainly aren't bad quality.
