Anyone know if there is a high speed test track where someone can go to test his vehicule's top speed ?
I mean a REAL, closed track specifically designed for this.

Particularly in the area of within say... 200-300 miles Montreal Quebec Canada: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=montre...src=0&t=m&z=11

Maybe a little farther...

I'd love to try mine at or above 300kph but never on the open road... "But officer, I was distracted"

309 kph? I was only able to see the title of your video. Couldn't play the vid on my phone. Two questions: was the engine still pulling at that speed? And what rpm was the engine at at that speed? Thanks.

It still was pulling, but I got scared and dropped the throttle.

If im not mistaken (since I zoomed in the video and the rpm guage was cropped) I was doing 6th at around 5-6k rpm.

I've delete my 280 km/h limiter an got 305 km/h on a really hot day in summer.
I think there is a little bit more possible when the weather is a bit colder

Top Gun Run = 177MPH with MHP tune only was still pulling hard but ran out of room 1.25 mile run.

I don't think the speedo test is an accurate measurement. Most are optimistic, many by a lot. At 1/2 mile events you'll hear first timers be very surprised that their the 180mpg speedo was pegged, but timing lights show 162. Based on the C63's profile, frontal area, and power, I would be very surprised if they went over 180 stock with only the limiter removed. It doesn't have decent aero either. I wouldn't want to do that on any road with even the slightest bend, or even a gusty day.
