C43 AMG CAB & VIPER
C63 Top Speed ?
Doe anyone know what the C63 AMG top speed is ?

I mean if the electronic limited is removed ...

Say stock car, with or without performance package...

Or maybe with an ECU tune only (since this is how you typically remove the limiter)...

Good question, I'd like to know as well. The C63 is a bit of a brick though so I'd be surprised if it can do any more than 170 - 175 mph.

My car is delimited and stock (no ECU tune) - my max was 298 km/h.
At that point the car stopped accelerating.

There are many videos with the "brick" doing 200 mph with tunes only. Just stock and the speed limiter removed it should do in the 190mph area.

I've hit 300kmh and it had pretty had much nothing left. Renntech stage 2 tune. Otherwise all stock.

We ran 181 in the Miami mile last time and 187 in the 1-1/4 mile at the Miami Mile. These cars will go well over 200mph with just a few mods. Be very careful running these speeds and you should only do it on a closed professional course.

Agreed...My 200 mph+ runs are always on a closed course with a professional driver. (Do not attempt this at home...) I've had the car to 190 mph with 4 people in it and it was still pulling. This in 100+ temps.

You guys who are seeing 200+ mph - are you just looking at the speedo and/or the AMG gauge, or is there some other form of verification being used? I have yet to see the latter...

I have done v-box verified runs in excess of 200 mph. At 200, the AMG speed reading is only about 6 mph off from the v-box

What's it like when you start to apply the brakes at those speeds?

The thing I'm most jealous of from those who have reached these speeds is being able to hear the exhaust for that length of time.

Very uneventful, the car slows quickly with no drama. The brakes on the C63 are really quite good.
