Omg. Are you being serious? You dont own an F1 car okay, relax man. Maybe you think you do, but I can assure you that we dont own zonda or anything like it, so that extra 2 kilograms wouldnt downgrade car's performance. Come on man dont be silly, I mean I weigh that much more after eating my lunch.

I never said it was a "Race Car" please point out where I did. But I do know full well what a race car is as the C63 is not my only car. Maybe you should just stick to horses and dogs.

Read it again. The weight issue was putting a 10 pound motor into the C63 to close a 28 pound lid. It had nothing to do with me acting like its a race car. It just seemed a bit superfluous. Now take a deep breath.

well the E has the automatic trunk and its a AMG.. so does the S, CLS and most of the other the AMGs.. so if those afford the weight idk why the C cant? So im just was asking, I dont know why people have to hate on it.

You keep misunderstanding me. Its not about adding the weight. 10lb's is nothing and it would be in the back anyhow so it would help traction anyhow. My point is or was that it is like using a crane to lift a pillow. Its overkill and not neccessary. Just my opinion, but I really dont see any function in it other than something else to break.
I have a Buick Enclave. Since it holds a lot of cargo and I use it for that purpose I tend to have my hands full as I approach it. The lid is heavy to lift without the auto and having the auto is nice so I dont have to put down what im carrying. Its also a kid transport so me or the wife has at least 1 kid in tow so the function makes sense on that vehicle.
The lid still pops open anyhow and flips up on the C63 so were really talking about closing it and the effort to close it is as much as it would be to press the button to close it.
Just my little opinion. Isnt that what this forum is for? Or should we all just agree on everything?
