Advice on winter tires.
I have a pair of Hankook W300 Ice Bears in 225/35/18 from my old 335i that have hardly any wear on them. Given that they are narrower than stock, what size should I put on the rear?
Also, given that pizza cutters get through the snow the best, how skinny can I go on the back?
And finally, is it ok to mix brands front/back with winter tires?
Thanks!

I put 235's on the rear stock wheels it looks terrible. Even just the little stretch looks dumb. I'm putting 255's on for this winter. And yes the car eats snow tires.

Tire Rac recommends 225/40/18. I purchased winter wheels so I am good to go. Your speedo might be a little off but they should be fine.

What would happen if I used those Hankooks, and put all-seasons on the back? Would it be all over the road?

I'm in Vancouver. We get occasional snow, very much like Seattle. If it actually snows I'll drive my wifes vehicle.

I wouldn't recommend mixing tires on the C63 (or any car). Unless there is heavy snowfall, you can continue to enjoy the use of the car during the winter months provided you install quality winter tires (the Pirelli Sottozeros come to mind).
If you're looking for a dealer, consider Speed Syndicate in Burnaby. Best prices I've ever seen.

1010tires is in Richmond and probably has the biggest selection of wheels in Canada but I don't think they do in store pick-up. I believe they're also somehow associated with Volco Tires so it may be worth it to give both of them a call, see if you can work something out.
