Parts gone bad...
I recently had MHB headers installed, and in the process, became aware that my passenger side engine mount leaked out, and my rear differential was also leaking. I'm not really sure the cause of these issues. Maybe bad seals. Either way, it's covered under warranty and my car is currently at the dealer getting these parts replaced. Anyone else experience these part failures?

If you drive aggressively all the time your motor mounts will start to leak and will need replacing.
Don't know what the problem with your diff is. Take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

How many miles and do you have an LSD? Also did they have to remove the header to change the mount or did you change the mount while the header was off?

"The engine mounts were damaged during the install of the headers, and the differential couldn't handle the extra power of the headers. Therefore, this is not covered under your warranty. Here is a bill for ~$3,000."

Lmao! You guys are funny. I thought they might give me crap about my mods. They did say the mounts could have failed due to H n R springs have a stiffer setting than factory. They also said that the headers made it really difficult to change the engine mounts because they take up so much space. They covered everything under warranty :-)

I've only had the springs on for 2k miles. I have 44k miles total, so I doubt the springs caused it. The differential was leaking before I had the headers installed, so they had no justification there.

No LSD, and yes, they had to remove the headers to replace the engine mounts. That's why they complained. I guess the mech had a tough time because the headers don't leave any space for them to work around.
