FINALLY TUNED!!!
Yesterday I finally got a OE dyno tune from Jeremy and wow wow wow is all i can say!!
It was a fun day got to see bunch of great and fast cars and bunch of cool guys. One of the best part of the day besides getting a tune was meeting Jeremy. I never seen someone work as hard as him. From answering phone calls from other customers, running the dyno, tuning other cars that werent going on the dyno, and talking to everone there. He really knows his stuff and tought me a lot!! Anyone I ever meet now who plans on tuning his/her car I wouldnt send them anywhere else besides Jeremy that for sure..
Now back to the tune!
I couldnt be happier with how it all turned out car feels completly different and even sounds different which I wasnt expecting. One thing to note is that the car was dynoed with the stock air filters since I didnt have time to buy aftermarket filters, but we did manage to take the charcoal filters out after the baseline runs. I will be putting in new filters ASAP hopfully see a litle bump in power. Also yesterday temps were in the 80s and humid not sure if that could affect numbers much. Wasn't able to get a copy of the dyno sheet but I did get a iphone shot (sorry for the quality).

Baseline: 360hp/355ft lb
OE Tuned: 424hp/382ft lb
So a gain of almost 65whp!!
Now time to save for headers!!

Many people install bungs before the cats for the most accurate AFR readings. However, many people do not. I've had different cars dynoed at different shops and I've never had the pre-cat bungs in my cars, so the AFR's were always measured by sniffers in the exhaust tips.
Putting the sniffer in the exhaust tips on the stock C63 will yield about 12.0 AFR for 91 octane.
What I would like to know is, if it's best to read AFR before the cats, then how reliable is the sniffer in the tailpipes? To complicate this matter, there are very reputable companies that make sniffers for this purpose, so they must work. But, if they do work well, then what does that say about the argument that you need to read the AFR's before the cats for the reading to be accurate?
