Just received the mail the work shop, they have told me they just has no chance to test the system gonna work for 2012 model or not yet, but will test and update to me once they have done the test. Hopefully won't take too long.

 

I spoke to Freeway Audio in Malvern today, who said the over ride is $599 installed, tey can also add a TV tuner incl antennas for $2000.

Thoughts?

Did you guys get the limited slip diff for your c63? Not sure if this is of any use if you don't take the car to the track.

 

Though about it for about a month. $5k for something a wasn't going to use.

Nup i'd didn't, spent my money on Keyless Go and changed the colour of my car to Diamond White. I think the dealer said only about 1 in 10 ordered a LSD.

For resale with it's nothing more.

It's up to you if you feel you would like one.

What Model and Spec are you thinking of?

Maybe Grey with Keyless Go & PPack. Hesitant about LSD. Some say LSD is a must for such a powerful car....stop wheel slipping when going round corners & better handling etc but others say need to change oil regularly, noisy & useless if not tracking the car.

 

Yeh Jim, a long wait, and once we get it, still won't be able to let it loose for another few weeks until 1500kms. I chose the sedan, I have little ones to put in the back. No LSD, didn't even hear about it until here, but couldn't have stretched another 5k anyways

Dealer told me today that my car will be on the "TALISMAN" with at ETA of the 24th Dec. Looked on the marine tracker and says the ship is in the English Channel.

Palladium.
Performance Package.
LSD
Comfort Pack--Keyless Go, Rear Blind etc.
Build Date is (was) 9/11, delivery said to be 9/1.
Have any of you guys who are now owners of the 2012 C63 with the revised dash, come across the "rattling dash" issue that I've seen mentioned on other parts of this forum?

ask your dealer if your car is on the TALISMAN Cargo Ship.
What State are you in and did you order Coupe or Sedan?

I haven't noticed anything in mine.

Regarding your question about countries, you can identify which factory the car was built from the VIN. I believe all Aussie cars are from Germany.

 

Pickles there is a lot to learn about C63's and your going to love owning/driving one. I have owned several HSV GTO's and GTS's but an AMG is a whole new ball game.

I looked at your car....AWESOME.
Yes, I've had a few V8s etc, the last being our VZ GTO, but AMG is in another world.....quite overwhelming actually.....so for sure, I have a MASSIVE amount to learn, as I actually know.....nothing!
