The "On road" price of that car would be "astronomical" with our rip off reg & "luxury" car tax....what a rip off that is.....So, what would the "On Road" price be?

At races at Hawkesbury today. In the Jockeys carpark noticed one of the updated C63s. This is the first I have seen on the road, so to speak. Looked to me a new colour, a sort of gunmetal grey, with black/red leather interior.

In victoria, we have "Euro Custom" plates, which all start with the letter "V", followed by the Victorian Coat of Arms", followed by a gap,then your number, so we have chosen:
"V MBC63".
Slimline front & standard rear.
All the suitable AMG combinations went long ago, but wifey didn't want an AMG plate anyway.....she said, "I'm driving a Mercedes Benz, & I want plates that reflect that"!

Very cool plates. Wifey bought me many years ago Qld Prestige pates MARTIN in Black with white letters. ( MARTY was not available)
Should look petty cool on a Diamond White C63 PP Coupe.

No worries....I just thought I heard a M.B. "Chief" saying the car was $245K PLUS "Govt Charges".....which would probably put the car up towards the $300K mark.
I've really got no idea, but if you optioned up a C63 Coupe with P/Pack, LSD etc etc...you wouldn't be far away from $260K ON THE ROAD, so I reckon the Black Series would be well over that.
But, I ain't got those sorts pf dollars, so I really don't know!

Ordered mine but have to wait until about April for delivery. Dealer told me we can no longer track car production via ?netstar? Is this true?
They can't even tell me when the car goes into production.

Good to see the some active Aussie participation here. Currently looking at either a low km 2011 model or placing an order for the 2012 facelift. Have to say for looks and the gimmick of the sat nav I'm leaning towards the 2011 it need to drive the 2012 to see if the wet clutch upgrade is a massive improvement as I love the dsg box in my current VW. Anyone have anything to report on the gearbox upgrade? O yeah looking at the Estate, for something different...

Did see the spy shots of a possible estate black variant which would be mind blowing, but like most the coin is a bit much. But damn a wagon that does a near to 4 sec 0-100

Anyway hope to participate and learn some from here leading upto and through my AMG ownership as I seem to have a modding disease...

Yes no tracker. But my car had a production date on the order. (even though it was delayed). They can tell you the name of the ship your car is on so you can track the ship. (that is what I look at for something dumb to do).

I didn't. I concluded a LSD will be a waste of money since I will never track the car and especially when insurance doesn't cover accidents on a track.

Hi, Went down to the dealer today asked if anyone is ordering a LSD.

The simple answer is not very many at all. Maybe just a few this year.

BTW they letting for me have their Demo c63 coupe for the weekend!!!

I said yes but I think it will make the wait seem a lot longer!!!!!!!

Well, I did order the LSD.....at ridiculous cost!!
I got the Performance Pack, & the LSD was another "performance related" option, so I just had to have it.....IMHO, I can't believe that AMG build a car like this without an LSD, but I suppose that with all the "electronic" aids that are built into the drive line, it probably doesn't need it.
Anyway, I'm not into carbon fibre trim etc, & other "visual " options, but I do like "go-fast" related bits, and the cost was small, relative to the total cost.
My spec sheet looks good, & I feel good, because our car will have all of the "performance options", "factory fitted"....which makes ME feel good!
But hey, I AM a realist, & I can confirm, that with my driving "ability", or rather, lack off, I'd probably not be able to tell the difference(LSD or non LSD)!

MB Sydney had their Coupe Demo at Eastern Creek today for the Burrows Day, its really a looker, in red with the black roof and red calipers, very tempting, sounded great as well.....

Due in port 24th Dec - Brisbane. Have to go through customs and get a compliance plate so Mid Jan sounds good. ( i'm in Sydney on holidays Early Jan)

I sold my C280 last week so using a mate's E350 until Early Jan.
