Hey Martin (Pickles), NickS here ...
Not long now mate, you must be well and truly over the wait by now! Must be 6 months or so since we had a chat about the C63 ?
Mine is 16 months old now, 13,000kms and well into it's 2nd set of rears ... ... absolutely zero issues since brand new and love it more every day. It's still 100% stock and you know what I'm like ... you just don't need to play with these cars, they are that good straight from the factory!
Looking forward to some pics.

2012 MB E63 Wagon, 2012 BMW M5, 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo S, 2010 Ferrari 458
Hi guys. It's good to find an Aussie thread. I'm thinking of replacing my wife's 2004 E500 wagon. She wants a smaller car so I'm thinking 2012 C63 wagon (the other options are 4 cylinders and that doesn't suit me ).
Is the ride too hard on the C63? That the main worry I have. Any thoughts are most welcome...

I’m in Sydney and I waited 2 weeks for a car to be available for a test and it’s definitely worth the wait because regardless what anyone else says, their opinion can’t beat your own ‘seat of the pants’ feel.
I’d be booking a test now as my 2 week wait was a lot less than the 5 months or so I waited for the car to arrive after I ordered it.

Just an update guys, mine is going to be ready for pickup on Friday. Just got my plates delivered, so going to drop them off tomorrow to the dealer, got the plates 'ZAMGZ' Z's are there for decoration lol. Not much selection for c63 amg plates... So they get hold of car 2moz and then they tint the windows thursday.
Will post photos once I get it and I'm done reving it to 4500 revs, and that may take a while.

I have owned a few WRX's and plenty of HSV's in the past ... the C63 rides better than all of them.

We ordered Victorian "Euro Custom" plates, which all commence with a "V" followed by the Victorian Coat Of Arms, then your number, ours being "MB C63".
Cheers, Pickles.

Arrived!!!
Hi Guys,
Picked up the car last night, oh so much fun. here are some pics, it is magnetite grey, sometimes it looks grey, sometimes black, sometimes dark grey, depends on the light. It currently has the black wheels on it, they were supposed to supply the silver ones. Bit of a stuff up somewhere, they will be swapping the wheels over in Feb. I found it a little hard last night keeping it under 4.5K revs, but shouldn't take long to get to 1500 kms. The sound as per all those youtube videos is awesome, sounds like a tiger on heat.

Dy'a reckon there's enough space between the spokes to clean every "nook & cranny" on the brake calipers?
Enjoy....we've got a couple of weeks to wait!
Cheers, Pickles.
