Geez Perry, you don't muck around do you?!
I use that brush mainly for getting to items that I can't get to with my hands/fingers etc....inner rims, parts of the brake calipers etc. For the front/face of the wheel, I'm quite happy to simply use my car wash solution & a rag....very easy, & I miss nothing.....but for inaccessable areas, that brush is simply the best.
Cheers, Pickles.

Hehe, once I set my mind on something I just do it . That is basically what I do with my wheels as you have indicated. I puchased the brush from a Sydney based internet company. I will spend this weekend taking the wax off and apply Zaino Car polish. Most of the US residence would know of the product. I have been using it for over 8 years. Great product

Yes Boys, All good picked her up at lunchtime today. To excited to do a big post.

Gee it's hard to keep to revs down. Better take her for a spin down the Gold Coast.

I'll post more on a new page later.

Later

Congrats and welcome to the rarified world of Oz C63 owners! I defy anyone to stay under 4500rpm for the first 1500km. Best tactic I found if you happen to favour manual shifting as I do: get out of first gear REAL QUICK! Seriously in manual mode the redline comes up so fast in first you gotta be primed for the change straight after you launch. ' course I can now safely report this stuff having squeezed past 1500km at 4499rpm some days ago...;-)

After a very long 6 months I finally got hold of my car. My mods so far are Schatz CF side mirror caps and AMG door pins. Next is a CF rear diffuser and front window tinting.

You are all probably bored looking at more standard C63 coupe pics - here's mine anyway.

Congrats mb280s. You will love this car. Great choice with your colour, pp which includes the stunning black wheels and red caliper and matching carbon fibre mirrors to the carbon fibre spoiler. I also love the amg door pins as it looks classy. Enjoy this wonderful car and please show more pics.

I have exactly same car with everything you have except for the carbon fibre mirrors.

Forrest jim will be glad you got your car. He will give you some tips how to wash it :-)

Cheers

Onya what a great looking car and hope it was worth the wait.

I'm too are keen on a CF diffuser

Your door pins are they Gen or the $50 ones only eBay?

Perry- " watch it" think you mean Wash it?
Yes DW is a great colour but you do get a lot of soot from the rear wheels back.
A quick spray and wipe of Finial Inspection or Aqua Wax keeps it looking good between washes.

I'm sure you love your DW PP coupe as much as Perry & me.

Feel free to PM me if you want to have a chat.

Giddy Up

Looks fantastic mate....colour combo is ace!
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your carbon mirrors and AMG door pins from?
Were they an easy install?
Congrats again, and hope your break-in period goes quick

Thanks. I changed my colour from grey to DW after seeing your cars in this forum. However, will need to wash weekly and lucky my dealer offers free car wash.

Thanks Marty. Love your car too - been admiring your pics until I got mine.

The door pins are genuine and pricey. Better than the original plastic ones which I damaged when I removed them. I can PM or post link if you like.

I m still looking for a CF diffuser so please let me know when you get yours.

What!!! you only wash it weekly. Forest Jim and I washes our cars 3 times a week

On a serious note I think all colours look great. However I think the black wheels seems to stand out more with the DW.

Hope you are enjoying the car as much as I do.

Cheers
