For Sale; HRE Wheels
Hello everyone,
I have a set of Twenty Inch (20") HRE Wheels for sale. Wheels have roughly estimated 5k miles. 1 front rim has a brand new back barrel, less than 10 miles. I have to sell these wheels because i can't run these size rims in the city i live, these streets full of cracks, potholes, uneven streets, etc. Its hard for me to enjoy cruising around the city with these wheels without dodging some pot holes so i've been using these wheels for show only. 3 other wheels are in great shape. Wheels are Charcoal Black face with chrome lips. 840R 20×8.5 Front; 20×10 Rear
Asking price is $3000k or OBO with tires. Tires are Falken FK-452, BRAND NEW with barely 50 miles on them. Front tire size are 225/35, Rears are 255/35. I ran these tire size for only show and i daily drive on the stock oem wheels only. If i were to guess these rims are 06-07 model? I don't quite know since i am only the second owner and the first owner don't remember. Offsets of the rims are unknown. Rims made to fit with W204 C63 AMG. Rear rims has a couple of mm shaved off of the base plate.
On with the picture's :

255 seems pretty narrow for a 10" rear wheel. You haven't had any issues with rubbing or the TCS running 35 profile front and rear? I'm pretty sure specs are 30F/25R on our cars when running 20s.

That video was jokes! Dont be so hard on yourself... dont get me wrong I was pissed you lost lol, but still that fat kid has nothing on you as a person. Besides he was a "Certified Stunt Driver" LMAO. The wheels look unreal, but being from canada and using the car as a daily driver there is no way I could run those!

Looks like the Big Easy isn't very easy on wheels. Too bad your car looks really good with them. Three piece wheels are notoriously problematic. The barrels aren't forged. They bend and go out of round all the time. I have a set on my Porsche that I had to completely replace all the inner barrels on. Next time they go out of round, they're gone. Back to one piece forged.

To have sacrifice wide tire size for high profile, I would need to stretch tire's since the city i live in doesn't get along with low profile size tire's. I have had 245/30 in the front and 285/25 in the rear's before and it wasn't to nice to ride around on. So that's when i started to strap on the OEM wheels and bought a new set of tire's for the HRE Wheels. So when i do strap on the HRE Wheels for Car Show's and Meet's, I can ride on the HRE Wheels to the show or meet without having to worry about cracking or putting a dent in the rim's.

I honestly replaced one of the front rim's back barrel due to crappy roads here in the Big Easy.

It is narrow for a 10" but not to be rude. I'm running these tire size's for car show's only and the occasional car meet's. Other than that, I daily ride on the stock 18's. As for, for rubbing issue's. There is none because the tire's are stretched and there is no rubbing at all on the 35 profile, front's are slightly stretched so 35's in the front aren't rubbing either.

Thanks for the info and GLWS - I wish running 20"s were an option for me!

No problem sir and thank you!
I wish i can run 20"s again someday too but i'll have to move down and go 19's.

Saw your car today at Pho Hoa, looking good. I was going to shoot the **** with you, but I was with my wife and her parents so I didn't have time. Maybe next time.
