+1

The very dark tint can make some guys a bit nervous, but that is no excuse for him being a jerk and actually damaging your tint. Makes the rest of us look bad. I sincerely hope you don't judge us all by that example!

As well, I personally have never liked the idea of stops for tint as a primary offense. That being said I have sure checked my share after a stop for other violations, but those were usually the ones that were obviously was over the limits.

So after a week after the tint, I finally accidently rolled down the windows to hand money to a homeless person.
Bad or Good? For the tint?

Thanks for the reassurance! Didn't see any damage but always weary.

P.S. Most of the bubbles have disappeared from the first day. I only see a few from all windows that are about 1mm in diameter. Looks good!

Good deal, glad to hear you are happy. I like mine and it too has a few small bubbles but really I have to look hard to find them. I have 20 rear and 38 on the four side windows.

I'm still contemplating if I should tint mine or not. I got a couple of questions. During night driving, how does the car lights from behind look? I mean does it enhance the heater strips and thus obscure your vision from behind and is a lower numbered tint darker? Also what do you guys think of putting like a 5" strip on top of th windshield?

LOL...good....to hand money to a homeless person to bring upon yourself good Asian karma...

Glad it worked out. I love my new tint, 35%. It's just dark and light enough for a nice shade all around and it brings out the body of the car more...

personally not a fan of the front tint strip. At night the tints don't bother me. I don't have problems seeing out of them since they're relatively light tint, and i suppose the headlights from cars behind don't bother me as much.

Glad to hear the bubbling is gone khmergod. I only have a couple of tiny ones on my rear windshield. I wasn't able to find anyone on the doors.

just my two cents worth:

tints are a good way to protect the interior of the vehicle, driver and passengers from the UV rays of the scorching sun. not to mention that it forms a good way of holding shattered glass when the window is shattered. it also makes the vehicle look sexier, however do not compromise on the driver's vision (especially at night time) - 20% to 40% is good enough, especially when you have a dark interior.

tinted windows on vehicles are prohibited in Brunei due to security issues. hence we can't even use the clear tints to reflect the heat

best tint material i've seen are from V-Cool. if you can't afford that, then 3M should suffice..

uhmmm... here in Tucson AZ is to tint or to tint darker. You just can't last much on the 6 month summers here. I would say tint it and protect your skin and your eyes..juts my opinion.

It sets the look of the car off even if you do not get the murdered out look. The best part is it blocks out the UVA/UVB rays protecting the interior and you when your driving. I never need to use the visor on the side.

Coincedentally, I was going over older MB's momentum magazine and one of there tech tips is discouraging tinting films due to reduce antenna performance and affect auto toll paying devices like EZPASS... Concluding that it's specially true with films containing metal. Interesting but it would not be a reason for me not to tiny a car.

I tint all our cars. I personally find my finger in my nose a lot when I am driving and tint protects my identity when I am knuckle deep. Our C63 is not tinted yet and I have already been caught by admiring onlookers of the car then they get to see who is driving it and there I am.... trying to itch my brain from my nose.

my formulaOne tint is ceramic, specifically designed to not interfere with cell/radio signals.

Tinted for sure. Unfortunately VA has a legal limit of only 50%.

HR Coilovers....it makes a huge difference in looks and performance. I think Roswell and Evenmoney and _AMG_ and a few others have them...

I always though the stance stock was pretty good but a slight drop is killer...
