Picked up the car today (3 days late because of the storm/power outages up my way) and was able to drive it about 50 miles or so. Rides nice and looks great out in the sun. Wasn't able to get any pictures yet, but maybe this weekend.

I would be on a car just like this in a heartbeat if I wasn't told by my salesman at the local MB dealer that the Designo Magno matte paint is incredibly hard to care for and will get permanent water spots very easily, and I live in a very wet climate so that kind of rules it out for me

I could never own the Edition car though as it is a daily driver and it would be impossible to maintain it the way I like to maintain my cars. Matte is great but a b$tch to maintain. When the car was at the dealer, you could see every single place someone touched it.

I think I have some sort of disease because I can't seem to help myself when it comes to new c63's. This will be #3 in 3 years, and I swore I wouldn't get another one, but this one is just too sweet to pass up.

We have the same car setup, lol, although mine is a 2011 sedan and an 09 R320 Bluetec. Let me guess, you have some kids?

As far as the color and keeping it clean. It may end up being a pain, but what convinced me was that I saw an Aston Martin DB7 (I think) in flat black that wasn't particularly clean and I still though it looked cool. Being flat it almost has like a patina sort of fade to it that actually looked OK to me dirty.
Does that make sense?

Love it, the matte black makes the car look so mean. I still cant decide between a Sedan or coupe, and this made it a bit harder.
