FINALLY! WHEELS ARE COMPLETE!
ok guys! my wheels are finally finished!
not on the car yet, shots will be up by next week, these wheels are forged by iconz, im giving them a shot because a good friend of mine, who some may know through e92post from being ex-m3 owners or beemer owners in general his name is dan@themodcity out there he's a sponsor, he use to offer many deals for iforged, but he talked me out of them because he claims their quality and service isn't how it was, so he lead me to this company, the quality is amazing, and wheels look gorgeous, what do you guys think!? 19" matte face, gloss lips, with silver rivets, opinions are all welcome! when i get better shots of the wheels i will post them, and obviously of them on the car, if anyone would like dan's info he is a great guy and can get you great deals on many other brands, but he deals most with iforged and iconz

thanks boknows i was actually thinking to do it, but with a red precut vinyl, they sell them on ebay and amazon, you chose the thickness of the "pinstripe" and then the rim size, and they send you 4 sets and you apply them, no one can tell it's a vinyl and that way i keep resale, because not everyone may want red pinstriped wheels

yea, i will post a link of it in a few days, when i got everything on the car, they come in various colors and finishes too, so you can get it matching to many various brakes or such, i mentioned it to my cousin who has a blacked out e63 with stock wheels black, and he got hyper silver around the whole edge, looks very clean on the car

funny that you mention pano, i actually had a feeling something like that was going on, various reasons, but good to know that, according to the bm owners they are very happy with the quality of them, guess i'll know over time? any links about this, just would like to read up a bit about it, what were their previous names, reasons for being banned? much thanks for all the info, much appreciated, let's hope that i didn't fall into a dilemma filled with endless issues

CTS-V Coupe
I purchased a set of 20" iForged Essens from Dan for my 335i, he's a great guy who will hook you up with a great deal, and he was extremely patient as I badgered him daily about the status of my order
**Your rims look amazing, what are you going with for a tire setup?

@amg, thank you! will do asap! unfortunately i live in the ny-area so around early december they will have to come off, but still good enough for me, they'll be back on mid april
@tyler, thanks!
@gsc, i really am that way too, i purchased for me e500 the HRE P40's and trust me they were great, but in my area it's not worth paying for wheels = to HRE and such because there's a 90% chance at least one of the wheels on your car will undergo damage, i have dealt with dan in the past, and he believes that iforged isn't how they were, and he told me to not stick to them, that a very good company in the same price range, but better quality is this "up and coming" company called iconz, guess i can make my own test of time with them, will let everyone know of anything that goes wrong with this brand, so far their reviews are great out on the bmw, corvette, camaro, and infiniti forums
@richard, thanks, it was just a thought, i have this feeling too, but that's what is great about it being a vinyl, and not a permanently applied pinstripe
@roswell, thanks, we can be twins lol, they are fairly new, they have 2 years of review time though on the forum which i based my buying decision from, because of their price as well, 3.1k for the set, and like i said let alone the forum, dan is a great guy and i believe that with his feedback on the forums out there, and with his service he definitely knew to direct me to these wheels. they barely have a website to be honest, but that's how much i trust dan, and he has never let me down, and from the looks, they are beautiful, once they are on the final decision can be made
@king, i was the same way lol, every week, "are they done!?" haha but it was definitely worth the wait, my tire setup will be 275/30 rears, and 245/35 fronts, i'm choosing the p-zero's because i have a near brand new set from my old wheels that fit the front 2, and i just need to grab the rear size, dan said that they recently did a c63 in the summer down in florida, with hre's with the same tire size, and similar offsets (i forgot the offsets at the moment, i will contact him to let me know)
@sjhugh, at first he had told me that they would not be able to be big at all due to our cars offsets, but after speaking with the company, they told him that for an additional amount they can do something called combo forging that would allow offsets like mine to gain lips like those, he didn't know that they did this service, but he said that he has done it with other companies and it works and delivers bigger lips with offsets like ours, guess we'll see when they go on, hopefully they will be fine, again i'll keep you all posted, but dan is a very experienced person in the field, so i'm sure he ordered just right for me.
