same ETA as mine. but trust me it is not going to happen.
i have been tracking the ship my car is on, arriving into port elizabeth tomorrow 22nd March. after which i was told she will go to singapore etc... based on her speed, she is not going to reach OZ by the 16th April....

I went with matte silver and black AMG wheels.
Was adivsed last Friday night that there is a 3 month delay in BS deliveries to Australia. something to do with the leather dash. Mine July deliver is now September

Mine had 41km. Broken down like this:
38 at the train yard (I went to the yard with my sales guy)
40 after the drive to the dealer (I was passenger)
41 at delivery. (dealer did a 1km PDI road test)
I was told most cars are delivered from our local train yard with anywhere from 35-40km. There's a lot of driving around to get from the factory to the destination train yard for us, which includes distance from factory to port, moving around in the port lot then onto and off the ship at destination, destination port to VPC, shuttling around various parts of VPC for optional equipment install/repairs, VPC to train yard, and unload at destination train yard.
If you see the volume of cars that goes through shipping, ports, train yards, and VPC's, there's no way that someone would joyride your car like in the video there. Half these guys don't even care to drive cars around, since they have move hundreds of cars a day. There's just no time to go for a rip in a random car.

Fair enough. I just think I'll kill myself the first time I see one. Had the opportunity to put money down late last year, but decided to wait (foolishly). Next time I went in to MB they were all accounted for + some more!

One of the MS Societies - I think Queensland - is auctioning one. $300 and it is yours, at odds of 8000 to 1

And of course it supports something worth while at the same time
Hopefully this is the easy way in to a BS
