Nice car man!

Question, I have the same exhaust but the tips (on my system) don't protrude as much from the rear diffuser as much as I'd like them to...

The inner tips are more than flush with the diffuser, if not slightly recessed under it..

I've tried adjusting them but can't pull them out any further as I would not have sufficient contact with the can when tightening the clamp & bolt...

Curious if you have a close-up of your exhaust from above...

Enjoy your beast!

WWMindy= u'r using a Valvetronic exhaust as well?
I changed the exhaust system to Valvetronic so i can adjust the sound of it just by pressing the remote. Although I always set it to roar at the loudest level. haha.
Anyway the valvetronic exhaust that I bought didnt come with the tip so I had to cut the old one and paste it unto the new. While doing that I got the proffesional set the position of the tips as I wanted them to be.

Yup...sure do! I love it...and I do the same thing...exhaust is always open. thinking about forcing the valves open so that I can hear this thing on cold starts before the vacuum is created in the lines.

Interesting on the exhaust tips...Mine came with a set that are bolt on, bolt off, and can be swapped with some black ones, if I'm not mistaken.

Will have to call Vivid Racing and see what the deal is with ordering new.

There are three versions of the HRE P40 now.

The original P40

The P40S, lighter design usually about 1.5-2lbs lighter per wheel.

The P40 Conical, concave design, uses lighter design elements of the P40S.

The pic on the scale is a P40 for a Porsche- complete different backpad/bolt pattern 5x130/and offset.

And the pic is not of P40 conicals, they are not out yet- the forgings are still being made for benzes and pcars.

The conical P40S line is currently available. The 19" and 20" forgings are in. We have several sets in production already. Some real world photos of the conical P40S line is right here:
