Air-Fresheners? Likes/Dislikes
Hey guys, I really love entering my car and having a nice freshening smell inside it, overtime that new car smell dies out, don't we all wish it was permanent! nonetheless, I would just like to hear everyone's opinion on types and their favorites and so on, I am a huge fan of the little tree's black ice, i wrap one around my rear ceiling handle, and swap it out every time i get a new wash, my only dislike is that these tend to lose their small very quickly, anyone else have any other options? a few of my friends have come across to the yankee candle one's through their gf/wives and i gotta admit, if the smells were not that feminine based, they are very good, not too strong, and last a while! my friend has vanilla in his range and it smells great, and he changes it at most once a month

If someone could capture the Mercedes new car smell down to the fine details, I would buy it.

I got tired of buying those jdm air freshners since they're quite expensive. So I ended buying this : http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/prod...9951&cm_vc=200. It's the best. A lot of my buddies like that smell so they went and bought it for their cars. LOL! You will not be disappointed.

I don't like air freshener (I like the smell, I just don't like the artificial smell in my car).
But, I find that after a very thorough vacuuming and dusting and once-over with interior cleaner, the car smells pretty damn clean. Seems like there is a lot of odor in dust.
Gonna have to find this squash though.

Guilty...lol. I'm currently using the Air Spencer squash one in my car, but instead of mounting the whole unit on the dash, I just put a refill case in the passenger foot well storage net. It smells good and is absolutely inconspicuous

I'm guessing that most of you do not realize that the new car smell you are smelling in a brand new car is the carcinogenic smell of the solvents that evaporate from the various glues and adhesives used in building said new car :P
That said.. I do not like air fresheners in general, because when you fart.. you just end up with a scented smelling fart, which is worse then the fart in the first place

Nothing beats that Carcinogenic smell combined with fresh nappa leather....
The only thing closest to that smell in a cologne that I have found is:
2 sprays of Armani Code
1 Spray of Gucci by Gucci
1 Spray of Cool Water
and finally a sprinkle of cinammon...
It gets all the ladys...and some dudes (which gets annoying for me)...

I like Zaino leather in a bottle, just smells awesome like new leather even if you have vinyl.

I had my car detailed for the first time this past June. Not sure if it was leather conditioner or air freshener spray, but my car had that new Benz smell for weeks afterwards. I’ll have to ask him what he used next time I wash my car.
