Dodger - yes all in good fun!
The only thing I have done to lighten the car are the seats. I have a cage in my car which offsets most of the seat weight (net/net I have added weight to the car). Yes you are right about the ice but lets not forget I ran in temperatures of what I think was 100 degrees at the coolest.
We are both over 4,100 so you are close to 400 or 500 pounds lighter than us aren't you? That weight savings alone is close to 5/10ths at the drag track.
Anyways, all bench racing right now and perhaps we should try to get together the beginning of Feb.

I was just taking a shot in the dark. Guess your last round of mods were free since you said you had $300k tied into it a while ago. Yea you're right it's chump change, you surely have a few exotics parked in your garage as well right? How many Veyrons, Pagani Zondas, Ageras do you own? Surely a baller like you wold have a fleet of exotics to throw $300+k at a 10 second car.
With that kind of money I'd get a UGR or Alpha 12 and wax that CLK all day long.
Thanks I will definitely keep you in the loop

As for the amount I have into my car, currently it sits at about $300k including the cost of the car, the mods that are being installed as we speak are not factored in since I have not yet paid or been invoiced but it still won't be anywhere near $400k. BTW I ordered a new C63 BS, that's my new project that should take flight in mid March when the car is delivered.

Ice is ice though, I have no idea the effects as priviously stated so the only way to find out would get your car to some favorable DA and let it rip,

I do have a fleet that the bank and insurance company has valued at close to $4,000,000 all with free and clear titles, its a high HP and TQ fleet consiting of mostly Internationals, Freightliners and a couple Macks and Peterbilts LOL. I own several cars if I wanted a Veyron I would buy one.

Actually Ahmad, although I have already given Mike Mad Props on another board and these times are absolutely AMAZING he didn't show me anything.
I ran a 10.62 @ 136 in a +2000 DA in a 4104 lbs car. I have heard that Mikse car weighs in at about 3500 pounds in race trim. You're an intelligent person please do the math. So while even though my car is making quite a bit more power there is absolutely nothing about these runs that we can compare. I HIGHLY doubt Mike would want to line up with me for money on the same track on the same day...but maybe I'm wrong.
FYI my 10.6 corrected down to a 10.38 (sea level) I wonder what it would factor using yesterdays DA at MIR 10.20 maybe???????
I said it on the other board but I will say it here, AMAZING TIMES Mike, Great job, now bolt on a Weistec and you will not only be king of the 63s but king of the MBs.

Jim / Earl / Mike,
If you guys are looking for optimal conditions then you don't want to come to Florida at all. If you can plan the event at MIR then I would definitely do that. Not trying to keep you all from coming down because I welcome you all to see what its like to race in the humid warm environment. Its not good but we have run some decent times. Hope to hook up with everyone at some point in time.

my car weighed 4104lbs at Route 66 raceways NHRA scale with me sitting in the drivers seat, I weigh about 200lbs. Keep in mind Earl and I both have a roll bar/cage supercharger, IC, ice water tanls that holds about 8 gallons of water, water weighs close to 8 pounds per gallon. Even though I have done a lot to rduce weight all the extras have added more weight than I cut resulting in a hevier than stock car now.
