True but not when you really need it.

Or more accurately, when the difference between two rear wheel's rotational speed is greater than a certain factor/percentage.
Yes an open differential does provide power to both wheels under moderate throttle inputs and wide radius turns, but when you really need both rears driven (hard acceleration and tight cornering) only one back wheel is being driven.

So I have decided to stick with the stock 18s. But I am still going to get PSS put on them and am thinking to bump the tire sizes up. Still have stock suspension and non-LSD. Any final thoughts on this before I pull the trigger?

fronts from 235/40 to 245/40
rears from 255/35 to 265/35

PSS are good tires and you save money to put towards a suspension and LSD.

I am using stock 19inch wheels with P Zero Nero GT. 235x35x19 front and 255x30x19 back and looks like there are a lot of room for wider tyres

Seconded. I added a Quaife LSD to my 507 and run Mich 265's rear on my 19s, very good traction, and the cost is not bad.
