Erm, mud flaps?
So I seem to be collecting an inordinate amount of mud/debris on the side panels behind the rear tire. Fairly annoying. Although I think mud flaps are relatively hideous, the debris collecting back there is worse.
So, is there an aftermarket mud flap that everyone uses? I called the dealership and they said they did not have any available.

It's your call, but most AMG purest would never place mud flaps on their cars. That's all i'm saying.

They have little pieces that you put on the fender by the wheel that's supposed to help with that.. not mudflaps per se.. I can't remember what they're called.

I know they make OEM ones because I've seen threads where people would just find them on their car and wonder what it is.
I'm not sure if that will stop the crap from getting on your bumper. I would think it would help (how much is another discussion), but I believe that's what it's for.. (but could be completely wrong)
EDIT: well that's a little higher than where you cars getting direct, but you get the idea, lol

I don't have a C, but both my E's collect a ton of dirt, grime and whatever else....yes, rear fenders too..........guess it's just too aerodynamic! haha,
and the reason I didn't get any on my 550 was because of the sport body paneling on the bottom........they said it
couldn't be built with like that......and my AMG, well........like Yuille said......it's an AMG, hehe

These are the OEM pieces fitted to the MY2008-MY2010 Euro/Aussie Spec cars that ‘drawde’ is talking about. For MY2011 they were even smaller as in narrower.
They offer a little protection for cars with stock rims and tyre widths and virtually none for those that go wider.
