I've got it and the app works fine, the problem is the screen size on most androids is so small when you use a window mount the damn thing bounces around so much you can't read it with a quick glance. Renders it rather useless for serious driving but it make nice christmas lights in your car. I've seen few very custom sets up using after market double din head with aux inputs units using this app from the OBD2 port (I think they are wifi based not blue tooth). You may also want to consider the Brockway D gauge (costs a bit more the the torque app and the bluetooth sender) but it much easier to read, and you can add other sensors that are not available at the OBD2 port. (EGT, Boost, Vacum, engine oil and tranny fluid temp).

Nice feedback.

Do you have access to AFR through the OBDII port?

Has anyone played with this lately? My bluetooth OBDII reader arrives tomorrow. Only $18 shipped from Amazon.com!
link link

This may be a stupid question, but where is the OBDII port located in our cars? Under the dash?

Can't wait to try the Torque Android app with this.

OBD2 port is under dash left of steering. Torque application is very nice. Lots of flexibility. The only issue is on an android phone screen it's very small if you add more than one gauge. Mounting the phone to the windshield doesn't work too well either as it bounces around so much you can't read it. Some of the new double din head unit have bluetooth/android capability. I've seen the torque app used in this configuration and it is very impressive. The D gauge with the single din mount looks totally stock however it is expensive.

Thanks! I'm just excited to see some realtime data from the car on my phone. If it works really well, maybe I'll buy a 7" android tablet like the new Nexus 7 and run Torque on that. How accurate are the 0-60/quarter mile figures reported by the app?

You have to calibrate the app to your car by entering data such as vehicle weight, engine displacement, etc. It extrapolates your times from a logarithmic acceleratormeter (g forces) in the proggy. (It does not rely on any information sent from the OBD2 port for acceleration times.) Hence is it only an estimate of your time. A cheap 7" android table would be a great option if you can find a place to mount it and power it.
