Has anybody been able to get through to RPM North? I had an order with them that I am trying to follow up on. No e-mail response and nobody answering the phone for the last 10 days. I wonder if they closed their doors? Anybody know?

They are in Plainview, NY (www.rpmNorth.com). Their website still works - I just can't seem to reach them by e-mail or phone. Hopefully they just went on vacation for a few weeks and will be back ??

The order was for a set of Black Wheel bolts for my factory 19" Multispoke wheels. The bolts arrived but the ball seat on those bolts is a not a true ball seat. RPM happily agreed to fix it so I sent them back. Then I never heard back. As I said, hopefully they just closed shop for a couple weeks for vacation but starting to wonder...

 

I had a pm from Craig saying he was away and would return shortly. I ordered a set of kw clubsports and was having trouble reaching them until Craig replied.

I live in the NYC area. Is RPM North one of the better shops around NYC to have work done on my C63? I can't seem to find many legitimate shops in the NYC area which specializes in german cars (Benz, BMW, etc..)

 

Unfortunately rpm is going through some changes right now. I used them for everything nicest bunch of guys around. Craig has become a good friend. I will tell him to check his pms.

 

The question is are we closed or not. I would say that the answer is that we are closed but I can assure you that nobody will be left being owed anything, it's not really the way that we have ever operated at RPMNorth. Our lease ended on July 1st so there was no intention of resigning the lease there. I was being headhunted by a company in California for a while now and I decided that I should pursue that and at least establish if this is something that I want to do moving forward.

It is an automotive business (www.WORLD-Motorsports.com and www.WORLD-Racing.com) and they have brought me in to develop the sales side of the business and you will see me on here shortly promoting the stuff that we have for you guys. Much of the same that I currently have and we will be adding a lot more.

If any of you California guys want to stop by and say hello you are more than welcome to.


I sawyour returned lug bolts right before I left. I know that we were supposed to just refund you the money, am I correct? Send me a PM and I will take care of it myself if I have to.

I called KW right before I left, made arrangements with my friends shop right before I left to handle the job at the prices that I quoted. Was waiting for it to come in to see how you want to proceed. The same person that would be installing and doing your alignment at RPMNorth would do it at the new place. I also left the owner all of your contact information to give you a call as soon as we hear from KW but I would expect that you will hear from him by the latest on Monday.

For any of you New York area customers that are looking for a shop this is the place where I was comfortable sending my last two jobs to (www.manhattanmotorsports.com), it is a very high end shop but it has a lot of the tools and equipment that are needed for what you guys want done. He also has a 4 wheel dyno, alignment machine, paint booth top of the line tire machine and balancer and a really amazing shop of cars. He is far from the cheapest around but for those customers that are looking for the right service than this maybe the shop for you.

Yeah, I've known Chris a long time. We are going to try and put together a good sales department that should serve car enthusiasts pretty well. We are working on what products we should carry, our inventory control and some e-commerce sites. Hopefully we should have some really cool things lined up soon.

I just got my car back from Derek and notice something before I drop it off and confirm it when I picked up my car up You swap/change my driver side mirror I don't know if broke change on another care or change with cheap after market part because that is not my mirror NOT MY MIRROR please send me my OEM driver side mirror low move very low move.............

P.S You also scuff my left rear wheel all wheel lip redone prior to mount on tires after (scuff)

I still have not received the credit for the wheel bolts that I had returned to RPM - even though I was promised to get payment in the mail. It's possible it got lost in the mail but I doubt it.
