Joe tvm, your an absolute legend

Something caught my eye.. The engine number is past 60658, so this one has new head bolts? It looks to be manufactured in Aug 2010

edit: looks like it was primarily US 2010 that had issues, but since this manufactured in Aug 2010 for the Japanese market, it'd be technically a 2011 US and thus the engine code shows its past the cut off.

Let me know if I'm wrong

You are correct about the cutoff, but not the U.S. comment. All M156 engines were affected, regardless of country or model.

I just wanted to say a very big thank you, Joe. By providing this information to me and others, I was informed, able to negotiate more strongly and purchase with confidence.

I've now placed a deposit on this particular c63 and if the PPI checks out, I'll be a new owner in about a months time (going to Europe first)
