Hello. First of all I wanted to say thank you for bringing me into the world of VMI. I am in the process of buying a used C63 and the amount of info I learned from this site is indispensable.
I wanted to sign up for the epc site myself as I have quite a few VINs to run and as a new member, I didn't feel right to just ask for stuff without contributing. In a few of the posts I see people saying it's free, but when I try to sign up it's asking $75. I don't mind paying, but am I missing on how to get it for free?
Secondly, how can I identify the major head bolt flaw through the VMI?

In regards to the verification of headbolt issue, and as stated many times in the forum, all 2010 and older, and some early 2011s are affected. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
When I run a datacard, it has the engine serial number, which defines if it's affected or not.
