In the one decoder I ran this vin thru, it shows as a 507 edition
(Name:Mercedes-Benz Name:C-Class Name:Edition 507 Engine), but no vents in the hood. Any idea's?

Sooo close. You missed the headbolt changeover by 43 engines.

I'm shopping for C63 coupes and was hoping I could get a build sheet from this VIN please: WDDGJ7HB1EG167885

Also, any "gotchas" I should be aware of with this one?

Read post 1295 on the last page. P31 is a dealer option code that includes several things listed separately on the data card. P30, 923, etc. If you have 923 it is a p31.

Yeah I know, 923 and P30 didn't show up in the Kiev site, but it did on several other sites

Datacard attached. Pust look for the P30. It's what defines the PP option, along with the other goodies as mentioned in the above posts. And the Kiev site does reference the P30.

Sorry..

I thought I could get some info on this car based on the VIN number, the datacard?

I purchased the car and it's been modified and I was wanting to see what was original and what was modified from the original build.

I read a few post and it appeared that I could get that here.

No worries. You were unclear as to what you wanted. I'm not sure you can tell much about mods from stock, but the datacard is attached.

Related, to the headbolts, please just search the forums to formulate your own opinion.

Datacard attached. It does have the PP as denoted by the P30 in the datacard. Ignore the fact that it is not shown as P31.
