Do you have an LSD... it does help a bit. The C63 can be just as good as a C 4matic if you know how to drive in the snow. The only thing I worry about is ground clearance... but it hasn't been an issue yet. I live in Canada where we get lots of snow... Im pretty sure it compares to NY. I think you are too hard on the throttle in the snow or didn't have good snow tires. I wouldn't tell people to avoid it because you can have just as much fun in the snow with this car as you can in the dry.
No LSD. That is a big plus though to have one.
Its not the amount of snow its the type of snow... lol. We tend to get rain first... then it freezes and then we get slush mess... and THEN we get snow. In that formula you are getting stuck in a C63.
I know how to drive in the snow. Easy on the throttle. C mode.. starting in 2nd gear ect. In the powder its fine. Its really not that hard of a science. I dont just get in a slam the throttle lol. I had blizzaks. They work wonders on my STI. Not so hot on my C63.
If you live in NYC and drive a C63 I would avoid it. Its simply NOT a snow car. LOL
